Former F1 driver Daniel Ricciardo dropped a huge hint about his future. The former Red Bull driver was rumored to be the leading driver to join Cadillac's F1 project. However, in a recent meet up with a fan, Daniel Ricciardo confirmed that he is not returning to F1 anytime soon.
Daniel Ricciardo has been enjoying his time off ever since leaving F1. He last raced in F1 in the Singapore Grand Prix where he managed to secure the fastest lap of the race as well. The ex-McLaren and Red Bull driver has been spotted attending multiple NFL games and cheering for his close friend and superstar Quarterback Josh Allen.
In a recent video surfacing on X, Ricciardo confirmed that he is not returning to F1 with the newest team on the grid.
"No Cadillac?" said the fan.
Daniel Ricciardo responded by saying:
"Naah, I'm done."
The 35-year-old F1 veteran was sacked midway through the season by RB and replaced by Liam Lawson. Ricciardo was also sacked by McLaren ahead of the 2023 season. The Aussie superstar has 8 F1 race wins in his career with Red Bull and McLaren with his last victory coming in Monza when McLaren secured a 1-2 with Lando Norris coming home in second place.

The Aussie driver was subjected to a bid from the South Korean company to increase their presence in America via NASCAR and Supercars. The former Red Bull driver enjoys a huge fan following around the world and Hyundai were keen to secure his services.
“I would have loved to have Danny. I met him in LA in late 2017, I think, and I find his aura… he’s a perfect brand ambassador.", Hyundai Motor Group CCO Luc Donckerwolke told Speedcafe.
“So we looked at it and then we said ‘okay, he’s still bound for 2025 to Red Bull until the end of the season and then now we heard about his commitment … Cadillac in Formula 1, which is great.”
