"This hurts a lot": Fans react to Lewis Hamilton's disastrous qualifying at Las Vegas GP as teammate George Russell takes pole position
Lewis Hamilton made a grave mistake in his final flying lap in Q3, which put him in P10 for Sunday's Las Vegas Grand Prix. Reacting to the situation, fans took to social media.
Hamilton had a brilliant Friday where the seven-time world champion finished on top of both the Free Practice sessions. He was ahead of his teammate, Russell, in FP1, while he got the better of Lando Norris of McLaren in FP2.
In FP3, Hamilton managed P6 but was well within the top spots. On Saturday, the British driver passed Q1 and Q2 with flying colors. He ended up in P2 in Q1 and then, P1 again in Q2. However, his Q3 brought him the disaster.
