Watch: Comedian Andrew Schulz talks to Daniel Ricciardo about his clothing brand Enchante and a possible return to racing
Comedian Andrew Schulz recently met with former F1 driver Daniel Ricciardo and talked about the latter's clothing brand, Echante, and dropped a humorous hint on the Aussie's future in racing. The clip of them was posted on Riccairdo's official Instagram account after he officially launched a new Echante pop-up shop in New York.
Echante's physical pop-up store in New York was open from December 13 to 15 in collaboration with Shopify. To promote his store, Ricciardo made a video with American comedian, Andrew Schulz, where they explored the store and talked about the former F1 driver's involvement in the brand. The clip was then officially posted on Ricciardo's Instagram account.
The video starts with Schulz talking about which team Daniel Ricciardo will drive for in 2026. The actual name of the team or the series that Schulz mentioned was censored while Ricciardo laughed hard at the humorous announcement. The American comedian then added that Ricciardo's teammate has not yet been decided.
"Guys huge announcement! There is a huge announcement, I'm with Daniel Ricciardo. Daniel is driving for....that's the announcement. Daniel is driving for.... in 2026! We don't know who is going to be in the back seat," Schulz said.
Later on, Ricciardo and Schulz talked about Echante. Ricciardo talked about the name of the brand and how involved he is in the process of making different apparel.
"[It's a] beautiful French word. You use it like a 'Pleasure to meet you'. So it's like if you are being very polite, you will be like 'Echante'," Ricciardo explained.
"So I'm like very much into the creativity of it all. I'm not going to claim on the designer, but I have eyes on everything, because I want to be proud of it. I want to tick things off, change things," he went on.
