Watch: George Russell and girlfriend Carmen Mundt make an appearance in a Tommy Hilfiger commercial
George Russell and his girlfriend Carmen Montero Mundt were recently seen in a Tommy Hilfiger commercial. The couple was asked to guess various Christmas holiday decorations and gifts kept inside a box.
Tommy Hilfiger has been an official sponsor for the Mercedes F1 team since 2018 and has frequently collaborated with its members and drivers for promotional content. Lewis Hamilton also shares a close relationship with the Hilfiger team and is also their global brand ambassador.
This time, however, the luxury clothing brand chose George Russell to star in their latest Christmas commercial. The British driver was accompanied by his partner Carmen Mundt in this advertisement, which was posted on Instagram on Wednesday, December 4.
Tommy Hilfiger's advertisement team hosted a game with the Mercedes driver and his girlfriend, where they had to guess what was inside the box just by feeling it with their hands. The items ranged from Christmas-themed gifts such as a small reindeer figurine, and a bauble, to branded items including Tommy Hilfiger's women's purse.
The commercial starts with both of them being in a room with a box in the middle with two holes for their hands to go into. The side of the box facing the camera was open, but Russell and Mundt were not able to see what was inside the box from their perspective.

Russell's partner, Carmen Montero Mundt, is in the finance field, having worked as an investor associate and consultant in companies like Ruffer LLP and Delta Capita. She has been dating George Russell since September 2020 and is frequently spotted attending races and supporting her partner.
Mundt also recently co-hosted a women-only dinner party with female team members of Mercedes.

George Russell's girlfriend, Carmen Montero Mundt recently co-hosted a women-exclusive dinner party with Mercedes F1 team and WhatsApp, the team's sponsor. The dinner was hosted ahead of the 2024 F1 Las Vegas Grand Prix.
The dinner before the Las Vegas GP was to celebrate women in motorsport and included many female team members from Mercedes, as well as NASCAR driver Toni Breidinger.
On Saturday, November 22, Mundt posted pictures of the evening on her Instagram account, writing:
"An unforgettable evening co-hosting with WhatsApp and Mercedes-AMG Petronas F1 in the heart of Las Vegas!"
Meanwhile, her partner George Russell joined Mercedes in 2022 and had an impressive season debut, outscoring Lewis Hamilton. Despite stringing along some promising results this year, the 26-year-old had a relatively subpar season as he couldn't consistently compete with the likes of Max Verstappen, Lando Norris, and Charles Leclerc.
