WATCH: Max Verstappen hilariously gets tumbled over alongside sister Victoria Verstappen
Max Verstappen was seen hilariously getting flipped in a surfing pool recently. The funny clip was posted by Victoria on her official Instagram account, which later went viral among the Dutchman's fanbase.
Max Verstappen recently secured his fourth consecutive drivers' world championship after finishing P5 in the 2024 F1 Las Vegas GP. Though the Red Bull star was several places away from a race win, he managed to stay ahead of Lando Norris, who was his direct title rival since he was second in the championship.
Though the 2024 F1 Qatar GP will be taking place right after the Las Vegas GP week, Max Verstappen got some time out for his family and was seen enjoying himself with his sister in an artificial surfing pool.
From another Instagram post by Victoria with her and Max's mother, Sophie Kumpen, it became clear that the family was spending some time together in the Waldorf Astoria Hotel in Lusail, where the second-to-last race was going to take place. The artificial surfing pool was a part of the hotel they were in.
In the clip, Victoria Verstappen was at the end of the surfing pool doing bodyboarding when Max Verstappen tried to get onto his board right behind her. This resulted in both colliding with each other due to water's upstream force.
It caused the four-time world champion to hilariously slip and flip sideways with his surfing board still in his hand. The force of the water was so high that the Dutchman continued to slip and go over the edge of the pool on the other side.

When Max Verstappen claimed her sister had similar levels of talent in racing
Back in September 2023, Max Verstappen praised his sister, Victoria Verstappen's racing skills and claimed that she has equal amounts of talent as he has.
Speaking to RaceFans, he explained that though she is equally skilled, she did not have the fire in her belly to fight for race wins and top spots. Max added that his father was mainly focused on making his career, but would have gladly helped her sister make it into racing as well if she felt the grit to win.
“I think my sister probably had the same amount of talent as I had when I was little, but she just didn’t want it enough. She liked it but not enough to, like, fight for it, be fit, be ready. That’s fine, as long as you realise that," Verstappen said.
"My dad was, anyway, mainly focussed on me. But then if you really want it, if you really want to fight for it, even when let’s say your dad is not really focussed on you, if you make him realise, make him see that ‘I want to do this as well’ – I was 100% sure that my dad would have gone all the way for her as well," he added.
As of now, Max Verstappen is a four-time world champion in F1, while his sister is a social media influencer and she supervises the official merchandise collection of his brother.
