Watch: The hilarious moment when Penelope Kvyat pushes Lando Norris' mother away from him

In an unseen video apparently shot during the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix, Max Verstappen's stepdaughter Penelope Kvyat pushed Lando Norris' mother away. The five-year-old was hugging Norris when Cisca Wauman interrupted the moment. However, the kid mischievously shrugged her away, leading to a hilarious moment.

The 25-year-old British driver shares a close bond with reigning world champion Max Verstappen, irrespective of the on-track clashes. The duo have been friends for a long time, and hence, Norris' fondness for the Dutchman's stepdaughter Penelope Kvyat also grew strong. The Brit has previously been captured spending time with the 5-year-old during race weekends.

Kelly Piquet's daughter met Lando Norris once again during the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix 2024. Dressed in a pink outfit and hair extensions, Penelope Kvyat hugged the British driver to wish him good luck for the race. Norris' mother interrupted the moment and went for a hug too. However, the kid didn't appreciate it and hilariously pushed her away. She gifted him a special sticker as well for the season finale.

Max Verstappen and Kelly Piquet have been dating each other since 2020. The Brazilian model had Penelope from her previous relationship with Red Bull driver Daniil Kvyat. Ahead of the Abu Dhabi GP, the couple announced that they were expecting a child together after four years of courtship.

Kelly Piquet recently shared a photo dump from the Abu Dhabi GP where she and Verstappen were seen celebrating the former's pregnancy. The 27-year-old earned the perfect gift for his family as he won his fourth championship in a row, thus beating his immediate competitor Lando Norris.

However, the Dutch driver lost the constructors title to the 25-year-old as McLaren beat Red Bull by a significant margin to secure their first trophy since 1998.
