2023 World Cup Fantasy League: Best Fantasy XI for Match 24 - AUS vs NED - 25 Oct, 2023 | World Cup Fantasy Tips
Australia (AUS) go up against the Netherlands (NED) in the 24th match of the 2023 Men's ODI World Cup (WC) on Wednesday, October 25, at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi.
Players playing in Match 23: Quinton de Kock (WK) (SA), Rassie van der Dussen (BAT) (SA), Kagiso Rabada (BOWL) (SA), and Shakib Al Hasan (ALL) (BAN).
Captain: Shakib Al Hasan | Vice-captain: Rassie van der Dussen
Total Points: 10,024.5.
After a pretty solid start to the season, this WC Fantasy campaign has slid into a disaster, with the last two matches exemplifying all that has gone wrong with my campaign.
Over-emphasizing on Quinton de Kock's unfavorable match-up against off-spinners led me to back Rassie van der Dussen more only for the RHB himself to fall in the same trap, while QDK played a masterful knock, carrying on his golden run in this tournament.
While I may have been unlucky on other occasions, I only had myself to blame when it came to this SA-BAN match, and with the upcoming game marking the halfway point of the tournament, there would be no better time for the tide to turn.
I have no players from this fixture and plan to make four transfers as a result.
Transfer Deadline: 02:00 pm IST, Wednesday, October 25.
Note: The suggested team is subject to change depending on the toss or other unexpected team news. Any such changes will be updated for the next match day.

I'm going all-out with Australia for this match as I believe they're unlikely to give the Netherlands much of a sniff in this one. The Aussies usually tend to steamroll lower-ranked teams and aren't ones to be upset, and while I am tempted to go for Bas de Leede or Logan van Beek, I feel I might be better served picking players from the likely winning team for a change.
Josh Hazlewood has to be one of the unluckiest bowlers in the world. For all his accuracy and unplayable deliveries, he doesn't get the amount of wickets he deserves. I am hoping he can at least get a three-wicket haul like in the first match against India. Mitchell Starc is a shoo-in, especially after his one-wicket outing in the last match that will make him desperate to pick up more wickets in the upcoming game.
On what should be another flat track in Delhi, I'm expecting David Warner and Mitchell Marsh to dominate, although the potential return of Travis Head to the team could have some interesting effects. Head's return will see Marsh drop down to No. 3, Smith to No. 4, and Marnus Labuschagne to the bench.
Travis Head, as an ODI opener, has stellar numbers, even besting those of Warner, and while he is just coming off an injury layoff, I might even be tempted to punt on him.

AUS vs NED: Thoughts and Captaincy Tips
Players playing in Match 24: David Warner (BAT) (AUS), Josh Hazlewood (BOWL) (AUS), Mitchell Starc (BOWL) (AUS), and Mitchell Marsh (ALL) (AUS).
I plan to captain a batter if Australia bat first and a bowler if they bowl first, although I'm not too sure about the soundness of this plan.
This is a good batting wicket and the Netherlands have batting till No. 11 so even if they get to a score of 250-260, that is still plenty of runs to be scored for the Aussie top order, and there are points to be scored there. The toss and pitch report will make my decision for me.
