AUS vs BAN Dream11 Prediction, Fantasy Cricket Tips & Playing XI Updates for Today's Cricket World Cup Match - June 20th, 2019
High on morale after a stunning chase against West Indies, Bangladesh look to make further inroads in their quest to make it to the semi-finals as they take on defending champions Australia at Trent Bridge in the 26th fixture of the 2019 World Cup.
Riding on Shakib Al Hasan's rich vein of form, Bangladesh have impressed in all formats and have established themselves as a serious contender alongside the 'Big Four' for a spot in the semifinals of this competition.
It wouldn't be easy for Bangladesh though, as Australia have only lost one game this tournament and have the likes of Mitchell Starc and Pat Cummins to bank on in the bowling department.
Considering the nature of the pitch on offer, a close encounter is on the cards between two very well-balanced sides as they look to seal a place in the top half of the league table. Here are a few tips to help you pick your Dream11 team.
Squads to choose from
Australia
Aaron Finch (C), David Warner, Usman Khawaja, Steven Smith, Shaun Marsh, Marcus Stoinis, Glenn Maxwell, Alex Carey, Adam Zampa, Nathan Coulter-Nile, Pat Cummins, Mitchell Starc, Nathan Lyon, Jason Behrendorff and Kane Richardson
Bangladesh
Mashrafe Mortaza (C), Tamim Iqbal, Liton Das, Soumya Sarkar, Mushfiqur Rahim, Mahmudullah, Shakib Al Hasan, Mohammad Mithun, Sabbir Rahaman, Mosaddek Hossain, Mohammad Saifuddin, Mehidy Hasan Miraz, Rubel Hossain, Mustafizur Rahman, Abu Jayed
Playing XI Updates
Australia
No changes are expected from the Aussies after a good showing against Sri Lanka. While their top order has done the bulk of the scoring so far, their make-shift middle order hasn't been up to the mark with Glenn Maxwell only having a couple of starts to show for. Mitchell Starc and Pat Cummins have been in fine form with 24 wickets between them and will be crucial against the likes of Tamim Iqbal and Soumya Sarkar.
Possible XI: Finch (C), Warner, Smith, Khawaja, Marsh, Maxwell, Carey (WK), Cummins, Starc, Richardson and Behrendorff/Zampa.
Bangladesh
Like their opponents on Thursday, Bangladesh also should field an unchanged side with Liton Das and Mohammad Saifuddin impressing against West Indies. Rubel Hossain is the only possible candidate to replace Mehidy Hasan given the nature of the pitch while much is expected for their star batsman Tamim Iqbal.
The experience of their middle order should prove to be pivotal as Mahmudullah and Mushfiqur Rahim will look to complement Shakib Al Hasan, who has scored 384 runs so far this season.
Possible XI: Tamim, Sarkar, Shakib, Rahim(WK), Liton, Mahmudullah, Saikat, Mehidy/Rubel, Saifuddin, Mortaza(C) and Mustafizur.

Pitch Report
Pacers should find enough help to trouble the batsman on a surface that should favour strokeplay. In the previous game played here, reverse swing was evident in the latter part of the innings and could be the difference on Thursday. The weather should remain clear for most part of the day although there is a threat of rain in the afternoon.
Fantasy Tips and Suggestions
Wicket-keeper: Liton Das' superlative innings against West Indies makes him a great option for this game while Mushfiqur Rahim is the second wicket-keeper in the team. Rahim is one of Bangladesh's most consistent batsmen and should be able to score some runs after a no-show earlier in the week.
Batsmen: Two of Steven Smith, David Warner and Aaron Finch should suffice given their form and the relatively weaker bowling attack that Bangladesh possess. Like his colleague Mushfiqur Rahim, Tamim Iqbal is also due for a big one with his record in England an indication of his ability at the top of the order. One of Usman Khawaja or Soumya Sarkar is also a decent option to opt for to balance out the credits.
Allrounders: Shakib Al Hasan's inclusion is a no-brainer with the SRH all-rounder leading the run-scoring charts this World Cup. Although it is his bowling that is in the limelight more often, Shakib should be able to contribute in either department. If the balance of the side permits, Glenn Maxwell is also a decent option with the Victorian filling in as the fifth bowler of the Aussie bowling unit.
Bowlers: Mitchell Starc and Pat Cummins are great options to have in the side. If the Aussies opt to bowl first, both of them are must have players given their wicket-taking prowess has already yielded 24 wickets in the tournament. Kane Richardson is also a viable option while Mohammad Saifuddin, who has been Bangladesh's best bowler this World Cup is also one to watch out for.
Captain: Steven Smith and Patrick Cummins have quietly gone about their business with 243 runs and 11 wickets respectively. Both of them should do well against Bangladesh on Thursday while Shakib Al Hasan's skill-set makes him the perfect captaincy candidate.
Fantasy Suggestion #1: Liton Das, Mushfiqur Rahim, Steven Smith, Aaron Finch, Usman Khawaja, Tamim Iqbal, Shakib Al Hasan, Mehidy Hasan, Kane Richardson, Pat Cummins and Mohammad Saifuddin. Captain: Patrick Cummins, Vice-Captain: Steven Smith
Fantasy Suggestion #2: Liton Das, Mushfiqur Rahim, Shakib Al Hasan, Steven Smith, Soumya Sarkar, Aaron Finch, Glenn Maxwell, Mitchell Starc, Pat Cummins, Mohammad Saifuddin and Mosaddek Hossain. Captain: Steven Smith, Vice-Captain: Shakib Al Hasan
