Aus Women vs NZ Women, 2nd ODI: Dream11 prediction, playing XI updates & fantasy cricket tips - February 24th, 2019
A thriller in the first ODI at the W.A.C.A where the Australian women edged past their Trans-Tasman rival by 5-runs has set the tone for the ongoing 3-match series between Australia-New Zealand Women's teams as the former will host their neighbors, New Zealand in the second ODI on Sunday.
The venue for the second ODI, the Karen Rolton Oval hosts it's first ever international match as Australia seek to seal the series with an imperative performance. New Zealand on the other hand, would like to shrug off the disappointment and keep the series alive in their plight to win an away series.
With the likes of Ellyse Perry and Suzie Bates gracing the newest venue with their talents, this match is set to be another great encounter.

Playing XI Updates:
Australia Women
In spite of an under-par batting performance, Australia should feel confident of their odds as they aim to walk out of Adelaide with the series all wrapped up. Lauren Cheatle wasn't quite effective with the ball and could make way for Nicola Carey while better performances are expected of senior players such as Perry and Lanning.
Their failures could have been catastrophic if not for a rescue act by the all-rounders, Ashleigh Gardner, and Jess Jonassen. Megan Schutt was quite expensive but still managed to pick up a few wickets and would want more of the same come Sunday.
Possible XI: Healy(WK), Haynes, Lanning(C), Perry, Villani, Mooney, Gardner, Jonassen, Wareham, Schutt and Carey.
New Zealand Women
Veterans, Sophie Devine, and Suzie Bates weren't able to come up with sizeable contributions up front. They would love to come good in what is a do-or-die game for the "The White Ferns".
The bowling unit is fairly settled with Sophie Devine and Amelia Kerr leading the charge with Amy Satterthwaite marshaling her troops admirably. No changes are expected of the New Zealand side with Rosemary Mair and Perkins doing well.
Possible XI: Bates, Devine, Down, Satterthwaite (WK), Perkins, Martin, Kerr, Kasperek, Jensen, Tahuhu, and Mair.

Fantasy Tips and Suggestions:
Wicket-keeper: Alyssa Healy missed out in the previous match but she should be the ideal option to go by in your fantasy side. Healy has been in brilliant form for Australia over the past year or so and should come up with a good performance on Sunday. Katie Matins could also be picked in the side to accommodate more established players in the side.
Batters: Suzie Bates and Rachael Haynes are great options to have in the fantasy side with the likes of Elyse Villani and Katie Perkins also amongst the available options. Haynes top scored in the previous ODI and can be backed to continue her good form. Meg Lanning is one of the best ODI players and could slot in for either Villani or Haynes.
All-rounders: Ellyse Perry and Sophie Devine are the perfect all-rounders with their skill-set perfect for the pitches prevalent Down Under. Both are fast-bowling all-rounders who bat high up the order which only increases the expectations from them. One of Jess Jonassen or Ashleigh Gardner would complete the all-rounders' department with both of them putting in impressive performances in the previous ODI.
Bowlers: Megan Schutt and Lea Tahuhmust-haves haves in the side for obvious reasons. Both of them rank amongst the best new ball bowlers in the world and along with one out of Rosemary Mair and Hayley Jensen, Schutt and Tahuhu should deliver a few wickets on Sunday.
Captain: Ellyse Perry and Sophie Devine have the ability to influence the game at any given situation due to their superior skill-set. This makes them the perfect captaincy material with all their efforts potentially doubling up. Alyssa Healy is also a great option with the wicket-keeper batsmen due for a big one.
