Bangladesh Premier League (BPL 2018-19): Dhaka Dynamites vs Comilla Victorians, Dream11 Prediction, Playing XI Updates & Fantasy Cricket Tips - January 22nd, 2019
After a devastating assault by Laurie Evans resulting in a heavy loss, the Comilla Victorians have a chance to get over it as they take on the home side, Dhaka Dynamites in the BPL. Dhaka have been fairly solid throughout the tournament with the presence of world-class players such as Shakib Al Hasan and Andre Russell and have churned out victories with relative ease.
With both teams fighting it out in the top half of the table, this match is sure to be a treat for fantasy lovers.
Squads to choose from:
Dhaka Dynamites:
Shakib Al Hasan(C), Sunil Narine, Rony Talukdar, Kieron Pollard, Rovman Powell, Hazratullah Zazai, Andrew Birch, Andre Russell, Rubel Hossain, Nurul Hasan, Shuvagata Hom, Ian Bell, Qazi Onik, Mohammad Asif Hasan, Naim Sheikh
Comilla Victorians:

Playing XI Updates:
Dhaka Dynamites:
Dhaka have the luxury of having a power hitter such as Kieron Pollard on the bench but it is their local talent that needs to stand up. The likes of Nurul Hasan and Shuvagata Hom have to step up and support the triumvirate of Shakib, Narine, Russell and Talukdar. Not many changes are expected of this side although Pollard should ideally come in for Rasooli.
Possible XI: Kuhn, Narine, Rony, Shakib(C), Russell, Hom, Nurul(WK), Rasooli, Rubel, Naim and Sheikh.
Comilla Victorians:
The batting and bowling units have not clicked together as a unit and Imrul Kayes would be hoping for them to do so as they take a formidable Dhaka side. While there are no serious causes for changes, the bowling unit lacks an out-and-out death bowler with Wahab Riaz proving expensive. He should be tried for one more match at least before facing the chop.
Possible XI: Tamim, Anamul(WK), Kayes(C), Shamsur, Dawson, Afridi, Perera, Wahab, Saifuddin, Ziaur and Mahedi.
Fantasy Tips and Suggestions:
Wicketkeeper: Anamul Haque couldn't convert a promising start against Rajshahi and that has been his problem throughout the competition. But, he should be the one picked rather than Nurul Hasan with Haque batting at the top of the order and promising more points than his counterpart.
Batsmen: Bangladesh openers Tamim Iqbal and Imrul Kayes are must-haves in the team with the ability to influence the matches well known to one and all. Talukdar has been the best of the lot along with Shakib for Dhaka and is another player to back as well. Either Shamsur Rahman or Heino Kuhn would also be a viable pick.
All-rounders: With as many as six credible all-rounders on offer, it is crucial to pick the ones who are actually contributing with both and ball. In this scenario, its the three Dhaka all-rounders, around whom the whole team revolves around. Their twelve overs are treated very carefully and have often yielded wickets. Liam Dawson can also replace either of them to obtain balance in the side.
Bowlers: Rubel Hossain is the only viable bowler on offer from Dhaka with Aliss Islam injured. Mahedi Hasan and Mohammed Saifuddin would round off the team with both doing well at the start of the innings. Saifuddin's pinch-hitting abilities also hold him good.
Captain: Tamim Iqbal and Shakib Al Hasan are the obvious choices going along recent form. Sunil Narine has had a decent tournament so far and would be eager to put in a match-defining performance. He would also be another candidate for captaincy.
Fantasy Suggestion #1: Anamul Haque(WK), Shamsur Rahman, Tamim Iqbal, Imrul Kayes, Rony Talukdar, Shakib Al Hasan, Sunil Narine, Andre Russell, Rubel Hossain, Mohammed Saifuddin and Mahedi Hasan. Captain: Sunil Narine
Fantasy Suggestion #2: Anamul Haque(WK), Heino Kuhn, Rony Talukdar, Imrul Kayes, Tamim Iqbal, Liam Dawson, Sunil Narine, Shakib Al Hasan, Rubel Hossain, Shuvagata Hom and Mohammed Saifuddin. Captain: Tamim Iqbal
