In the third and final game of the day, the Sydney Sixers are back in action after a brief period of inactivity as they take on Perth Scorchers. With the game set to be held at the Optus Stadium, both teams would be aware of the conditions suitable to the pacers.

Both teams come into the match with a win and would look to cash in on the momentum. The Sorchers will look to swap places with the Heat with a win against the Sixers although the bowling unit of Sixers would say otherwise. All in all, it should be an exciting game with some of the best bowlers in action.

Squads to pick from:

Perth Scorchers:

Ashton Agar, Cameron Bancroft, Jason Behrendorff, Hilton Cartwright, Nathan Coulter-Nile, Cameron Green, Josh Inglis, Matthew Kelly, Michael Klinger, Mitchell Marsh, Shaun Marsh, Joel Paris, Usman Qadir, Jhye Richardson, Ashton Turner, Andrew Tye, Sam Whiteman, David Willey

Sydney Sixers:

Sean Abbott, Justin Avendano, Tom Curran, Ben Dwarshuis, Joe Denly, Jack Edwards, Mickey Edwards, Daniel Fallins, Moises Henriques, Daniel Hughes, Nathan Lyon, Peter Nevill, Stephen O'Keefe, Josh Philippe, Lloyd Pope, Jordan Silk, Henry Thornton, Greg West, Ben Manenti

Playing XI Updates:

Perth Scorchers: After a resounding and reassuring win over the Melbourne Stars earlier in the week, the Scorchers should field the same side that played against the Stars. Ashton Turner should lead the side after being released by the Australian team for the match.

With the conditions suiting the pacers, all eyes will be on Andrew Tye to produce the goods once again against the Sixers. Usman Qadir and Aaron Hardie should retain their places for the match.

Possible XI: Klinger, Bancroft (WK), Turner (C), Cartwright, Agar, Bosisto, Willey, Hardie, Tye, Coulter-Nile and Qadir.

Sydney Sixers: Walking along the same lines as their counterparts, the Sixers should also field a similar side that won against the Adelaide Strikers. Joe Denly is off to the West Indies as part of the English national team which sees James Vince debuting for the Sixers.

The former Thunders player is set to open the batting with under fire opener, Justin Avendano. The bowling unit looks settled with three bowlers featuring in the top five wicket-takers in the BBL so far.

Possible XI: Vince, Avendano, Hughes, Henriques(C), Silk, Phillipe(WK), Curran, Abbott, O'Keefe, Manenti, and Dwarshius.

Fantasy Tips and Suggestions:

Wicket-keeper: Cameron Bancroft was back to his best after stroking a fluent fifty against the Stars in his previous outing. The Western Australian should be preferred over Josh Phillipe, whose case is not bolstered by his relatively low batting position.

Batsmen: Michael Klinger was also back amongst the runs and will be looking to put in another good performance against a formidable Sixers bowling unit.

Ashton Turner and Moises Henriques have been brilliant in the middle overs with the bat and should be key selections to the fantasy side. Either of Daniel Hughes or James Vince can be opted for with being capable of scoring big scores at will.

All-rounders: Tom Curran has been sensational for the Sixers this season with his accurate yorkers and pinch hitting at the death. He is one player you would not want to miss out on. David Willey and Ashton Agar are also viable selections but with the conditions favouring the Englishman, Willey could be a pivotal pick.

Bowlers: Andrew Tye and Nathan Coulter-Nile were rampant at the MCG and should continue their rich form against the Sixers as well.

Sean Abbott has been the Sixers' go-to bowler in the middle overs and could be crucial considering the middle order woes of the Scorchers. Ben Dwarshius should round off the team with the former Kings XI Punjab player capable of bowling good overs up front.

Captain: Daniel Hughes is surely a contender with his form being taken into account although Michael Klinger and Ashton Turner wouldn't be too far off. If the Sixers are to win the match, Hughes is sure to have a big say in it.

Fantasy Suggestion #1: Cameron Bancroft (WK), Michael Klinger, Ashton Turner, James Vince, Daniel Hughes, Tom Curran, Ashton Agar, Andrew Tye, Nathan Coulter-Nile, Ben Dwarshius, and Sean Abbott. Captain: Michael Klinger

Fantasy Suggestion #2: Cameron Bancroft (WK), Michael Klinger, Ashton Turner, Moises Henriques, Daniel Hughes, Tom Curran, David Willey, Andrew Tye, Usman Qadir, Sean Abbott, and Ben Dwarshius. Captain: Daniel Hughes
