Playing XI Updates
Sydney Sixers:
After a brilliant run-chase against Hobart, the Sixers should be playing the same eleven with Josh Philippe and Daniel Hughes at the top of the order. Their bowling has been spot on this season and will be quite tough to put away at the SCG.
Possible XI: Hughes, Philippe(WK), Vince, Henriques (C), Silk, Edwards, Curran, O'Keefe, Abbott, Pope and Dwarshius.
Adelaide Strikers:
The return of Peter Siddle should add much needed strength to a faltering Strikers side. Their performances with the bat have been dreadful and apart from Colin Ingram, none of the others have got going. Much is expected from Alex Carey and Jake Weatherald.
Possible XI: Carey(WK), Weatherald, Short, Ingram(C), Wells, Lehmann, Neser, Rashid, Siddle, Laughlin and Stanlake.
Fantasy Tips and Suggestions
Wicket-keeper: Alex Carey should be the preferred option in-spite of Josh Philippe's resurgence at the top of the Sixers' batting order. Although he isn't too bad an option, Carey is one of the most dependable batsmen in the country and is due for a big one.
Batsmen: Colin Ingram is in very good form right now and has scored 301 runs so far. Ingram, along with Weatherald and Hughes, are very handy options to have in your fantasy side. Jonathan Wells has also been quite dependable for the Strikers and could also be an option to facilitate better players.
All-rounders: Moises Henriques, Tom Curran and Michael Neser are the ideal set of all-rounders to have in your side. Curran has picked up 15 wickets this season and has been sensational in the death, which makes him a valuable asset.
Bowlers: Rashid Khan and Sean Abbott are must haves in the fantasy team. Either of Ben Laughlin or Billy Stanlake would be great, with Lloyd Pope rounding off an impressive team.
Captain: Moises Henriques is a quality player and is due for a big innings with the New South Welshman in good touch as well. Henriques, along with Jake Weatherald, are very good options to go for.
Fantasy Suggestion #1: Alex Carey(WK), Jake Weatherald, Colin Ingram, Daniel Hughes, Moises Henriques, Tom Curran, Michael Neser, Billy Stanlake, Ben Laughlin, Sean Abbott and Ben Dwarshius. Captain: Moises Henriques.
Fantasy Suggestion #2: Alex Carey(WK), Jake Lehmann, Jake Weatherald, Daniel Hughes, Moises Henriques, Tom Curran, Michael Neser, Rashid Khan, Ben Dwarshius, Sean Abbott and Billy Stanlake. Captain: Jake Weatherald.
