Playing XI updates:
Sydney Sixers:
No changes are expected from the side that won against the Brisbane Heat. In what was an emphatic performance from all the players, the Sixers will take pride from the fact that Vince and Silk knit a huge partnership to take them a step closer to victory. After having a memorable comeback to the side, Lloyd Pope should keep his place.
Possible XI: Hughes, Phillipe(WK), Vince, Henriques(C), Silk, Edwards, Curran, Abbott, O'Keefe, Dwarshius and Pope.
Hobart Hurricanes:
Like the Sydney Sixers, Hobart should also play the same eleven that dismantled the Strikers unit with a daunting ten wicket win. All the bowlers are slowly coming to the fore with Clive Rose also performing admirably in the death against a rampant Colin Ingram. All eyes will again be on the duo of D'Arcy Short and Matthew Wade
Possible XI: Short, Wade (C&WK), Jewell, McDermott, Bailey, Milenko, Faulkner, Botha, Archer, Meredith and Rose.
Fantasy Tips and Suggestions:
Wicket-keeper: Both Matthew Wade and Josh Phillipe are great options to go for with both of them batting at the top of the order. Phillipe has shown glimpses of his talent and should be the one preferred over Matthew Wade inspite his brilliant form.
Batsmen: D'Arcy Short has been the best batsmen in the BBL for two season now and is consistently scoring big. He should be the first pick in any fantasy team and would be ably supported with the selections of Daniel Hughes and Ben McDermott who have only shown glimpses of what they are actually capable of.
All-rounders: Moises Henriques, Tom Curran and James Faulkner are in-form players who could decide the fate of the match in just a couple of overs. Curran is amongst the highest wicket takers as well and will be one to keep an eye on.
Bowlers: Riley Meredith and Jofra Archer have done well in tandem and on a pitch which suits fast bowling, both of them along with Sean Abbott are great choice to go for. Lloyd Pope would also prove to be useful pick if selected.
Captain: Daniel Hughes is the ideal choice for captain with the south-paw consistently getting off to starts but not converting them. This is the apt situation for a player of his talent to come good. D'Arcy Short and Ben McDermott are the other candidates in the running for captain.
Fantasy Suggestion #1: Josh Phillipe (WK), D'Arcy Short, Daniel Hughes, Ben McDermott, Moises Henriques, Tom Curran, James Faulkner, Jofra Archer, Riley Meredith, Lloyd Pope and Sean Abbott. Captain: D'Arcy Short.
Fantasy Suggestion #2: Matthew Wade(WK), George Bailey, Ben McDermott, Daniel Hughes, Moises Henriques, Tom Curran, James Faulkner, Jofra Archer, Riley Meredith, Steve O'Keefe and Sean Abbott. Captain: Daniel Hughes
