CSK vs KKR Dream11 Prediction & Dotball Picks, Playing XI Updates & IPL Fantasy Cricket Tips - April 9th, 2019
With the IPL Points Table slowly taking shape, a top-of-the-table clash is in store for the IPL Audience as the Chennai Super Kings and Kolkata Knight Riders look to assume outright supremacy at the top of the table as they face each other in Chepauk on Tuesday. Unbeaten at home, CSK have home comforts to revert to against an equally impressive KKR, buoyed by the performances of their overseas players this season. With the sluggish nature of the pitch, both teams will be looking to make good use of the conditions with the resources they have and come up trumps in what could be a pivotal game in the context of the tournament.
Squads to choose from
Chennai Super Kings:
Mahendra Singh Dhoni(C), Suresh Raina, Shane Watson, Ambati Rayudu, Kedhar Jadhav, Dhruv Shorey, Ruturaj Gaikwad, Sam Billings, David Willey, Ravindra Jadeja, Dwayne Bravo, Faf du Plessis, Karn Sharma, Harbhajan Singh, Imran Tahir, Mitchell Santner, Deepak Chahar, Shardul Thakur, Mohit Sharma, Monu Kumar, KM Asif, Murali Vijay, Chaitanya Bishnoi, N Jagadeesan

Playing XI Updates
Chennai Super Kings:
Faf du Plessis made an instant impact at the top of the order with a masterful fifty to set the tone for an above-par score against KXIP. He should keep his place alongside Shane Watson with the likes of Jadhav, Dhoni and Raina following them. Scott Kuggeleijn and Deepak Chahar came back strong in the death overs and will continue to do so against KKR. Considering the number of right handers in the team, Harbhajan Singh could make way for Karn Sharma inspite of another man of the match performance at the Chepauk.
Possible XI: Du Plessis, Watson, Raina, Rayudu, Dhoni (C&WK), Jadhav, Kuggeleijn, Jadeja, Karn/Harbhajan, Chahar and Tahir.
Kolkata Knight Riders:
Harry Gurney's impressive variations were on show in Jaipur as he put forth a man-of-the-match performance on his IPL debut. He just might be the missing piece in KKR's jigsaw puzzle with a genuine death bowler now in their ranks. The return of Chris Lynn and Sunil Narine to form bodes well for KKR with their Indian core yet to be tested to it's fullest abilities. KKR should be optimistic of their chances of upstaging the defending champions in their own backyard with the likes of Andre Russell and Kuldeep Yadav in fine form.
Possible XI: Lynn, Narine, Uthappa, Rana, Gill, Karthik (C & WK), Russell, Chawla, Gurney, Kuldeep and Prasidh

Fantasy Tips and Suggestions
Wicket-keeper: Both Dinesh Karthik and MS Dhoni have come up with the goods when required with a couple of cameos to their name in this season. Either of them would be sufficient in the fantasy team with both of them bound to come into the spotlight in the latter overs on what should be a slowish pitch on Tuesday.
Batsmen: Ambati Rayudu and Robin Uthappa are very good players of spin and are must-haves in the team while the likes of Suresh Raina and Nitish Rana could also be worthy options if chosen. Chris Lynn's return to form in the last couple of games is also something worth looking into although spin isn't his stronger suit.
All-rounders: Spin bowling allrounders, Ravindra Jadeja and Sunil Narine are the ideal set of players to have in the side while the might of Andre Russell could also be accommodated in the team with a few tweaks in the other departments.
Bowlers: On a pitch which promotes the use of variations and flight, Imran Tahir and Kuldeep Yadav are the perfect players for the fantasy team while Harry Gurney's exceptional performance against RR should hold him in good stead. One of Scott Kuggeleijn or Deepak Chahar should suffice in rounding off the fantasy team.
Captain: Suresh Raina hasn't been in the best of forms this year but he has the ability to overcome the rut with a telling contribution when required. Along with the likes of Sunil Narine and Ambati Rayudu, Suresh Raina is also a good option for captaincy.
Fantasy Suggestion for Dotball #1: Dinesh Karthik (WK), Ambati Rayudu, Suresh Raina, Robin Uthappa, Nitish Rana, Sunil Narine, Ravindra Jadeja, Kuldeep Yadav, Imran Tahir, Harry Gurney and Scott Kuggeleijn. Captain: Suresh Raina
Fantasy Suggestion for Dotball #2: Dinesh Karthik (WK), Shane Watson, Ambati Rayudu, Robin Uthappa, Andre Russell, Sunil Narine, Ravindra Jadeja, Harry Gurney, Kuldeep Yadav, Imran Tahir, and Deepak Chahar. Captain: Sunil Narine
