Squads to choose from:

Deccan Gladiators:

Shane Watson (C), Anton Devcich, Mohammad Shahzad, Kieron Pollard, Bhanuka Rajapaksa, Ben Cutting, Migael Pretorius, Fawad Ahmed, Zahir Khan, Mason Crane, Zahoor Khan, Tymal Mills, Prashant Gupta

Team Abu Dhabi:

Moeen Ali (C), Niroshan Dickwella, Luke Wright, Lewis Gregory, Wayne Madsen, Alex Davies, Marchant de Lange, Ben Laughlin, Rohan Mustafa, Harry Gurney, Richard Gleeson, Paras Khadka and Rameez Shahzad

Playing XI Updates:

Deccan Gladiators:

After three consecutive wins, Deccan Gladiators wouldn't be looking to tinker with a successful combination. Shane Watson and Mohammad Shahzad have already made a mark in the T10 League while Kieron Pollard provides the balance in the side with his medium pace. With Zahir Khan injuring himself in the previous game, Mason Crane should come into the side. Nevertheless, the bowling unit looks well settled with Sheldon Cottrell set to lead the bowling attack on Wednesday.

Possible XI: Watson(C), Shahzad(WK), Pollard, Devcich, Rajapaksa, Cutting, Lawrence, Cottrell, Fawad, Zahoor and Crane.

Team Abu Dhabi:

A couple of changes could be made to their side with Harry Gurney most likely to make way for Richard Gleeson. Another possibility would be Paras Khadka coming in for Lewis Gregory with Moeen Ali bowling an over in the previous game. Their batting unit looks heavily dependant on Moeen Ali and Avishka Fernando, who hit a whirlwind fifty in vain. The onus is on Ben Laughlin and his variations to deliver the goods in that is a must win game for them.

Possible XI: Ali(C), Wright, Fernando, Gregory, Davies(WK), Madsen, De Lange, Laughlin, Gleeson, Walsh and Mustafa

20th November 2019, 9:30 PM IST

Sheikh Zayed Cricket Stadium, Abu Dhabi

Pitch Report:

Both teams would want to bat first on what is decent batting track. All the evening games have seen the chasing side win the game after restricting the run-scoring to less than a hundred. Spinners will get some turn early on and could make good use of the dimensions of the ground as well. No team has won batting second in the late night games and could play a part in the toss as well.

Fantasy Tips and Suggestions:

Wicket-keeper: Mohammad Shahzad finally struck form in the T10 League with a superb fifty against the Qalandars. With no viable candidate from Team Abu Dhabi for this game, Shahzad is picked as the lone wicket-keeper for this game. With Shahzad finding confidence as well, expect him to make a big contribution for the Gladiators.

Batsmen: Shane Watson and Avishka Fernando are set to feature in most fantasy teams. While Watson has scored 128 runs so far for the Gladiators, Avishka Fernando's debut for Team Maratha saw a blistering knock from his bat albeit in a losing cause. Along with the aforementioned duo, Luke Wright is also a dependable option while Bhanuka Rajapaksa also presents a decent case for an inclusion owing to his recent form.

Allrounders: Moeen Ali is another must have player in the side with the English all-round being Team Abu Dhabi's best bet with the bat. Along with him, the inclusion of Kieron Pollard would also do with the big West Indian already making a mark in the T10 League. One of Anton Devcich or Ben Cutting would suffice as the final all-rounder option for the fantasy team with both of them in good six hitting form for the Deccan Gladiators.

Bowlers: West Indian pacer, Sheldon Cottrell proved to be difficult to put away in his first T10 League appearance this year. He should pick a wicket or two against a relatively weak Team Abu Dhabi batting unit. Another pacer who has impressed this season is Ben Laughlin, whose off pace deliveries have been unplayable at times. With Zahir Khan injured for this game, the onus will be on Zahoor Khan, who has done well in the last few games. He is ideally picked in the side as well while one of Hayden Walsh or Marchant de Lange should also suffice.

Captain: Shane Watson should get back to his supreme best after getting out cheaply in his previous outing against Qalandars. While Watson is one viable option for captaincy, the other would be Moeen Ali. The south-paw has shown glimpses of what he is capable of and would be eager to overturn their side's poor form. Luke Wright is another good option if one were to prefer another opener for the captaincy options.

Fantasy Suggestion #1: Mohammad Shahzad, Shane Watson, Avishka Fernando, Luke Wright, Moeen Ali, Kieron Pollard, Anton Devcich, Ben Laughlin, Sheldon Cottrell, Marchant de Lange and Fawad Ahmed. Captain: Shane Watson, Vice-Captain: Moeen Ali

Fantasy Suggestion #2: Mohammad Shahzad, Shane Watson, Avishka Fernando, Luke Wright, Moeen Ali, Kieron Pollard, Anton Devcich, Ben Laughlin, Sheldon Cottrell, Hayden Walsh and Zahoor Khan. Captain: Luke Wright, Vice-Captain: Shane Watson
