DSG vs MICT Dream11 Prediction: 3 differentials you could pick in today’s SA20 match – January 21, 2025

The Durban Super Giants (DSG) take on MI Cape Town (MICT) in the 16th match of SA20 2025 on Tuesday, January 21, at Kingsmead in Durban.

DSG have suffered three losses on the trot and find themselves at the bottom of the points table, with the latest a crushing six-wicket defeat at the hands of the Sunrisers Eastern Cape.

Their opponents, on the other hand, have fared quite well this season, with three wins to their name so far. They comfortably got past the Joburg Super Kings in their last outing, with Ryan Rickleton's blitz powering to a win, also helping them secure a bonus point.

While MI Cape Town will look to register back-to-back wins for the first time this season, DSG will look to get back to winning ways in tonight's fixture. Let's now look at three players who could be quality Dream11 differentials.

#3 Heinrich Klaasen (WK) (DSG)

Heinrich Klaasen won the Player of the Series award in the previous edition of the SA20 even as the Durban Super Giants finished as runners-up. He smashed 447 runs in 13 innings at an average of 40.64 and an unbelievable strike rate of 207.91.

In a surprising turn of events, Klaasen has managed to score only 38 runs in four matches in SA20 2025, averaging a mere 9.5, at a poor strike rate of 111.76. The team has struggled to score runs outside of the powerplay, with the exception of the first encounter where contributions came from Wiaan Mulder and Kane Williamson.

Klaasen's destructive ability is known to everyone in the cricketing circuit, and once he gets going, it becomes very difficult to stop him. Despite his poor form, he remains a powerful Dream11 option, and his low ownership provides an opportunity for his backers to record some huge differential hauls.

#2 Corbin Bosch (ALL) (MI)

MI Cape Town's Corbin Bosch replaced Azmatullah Omarzai in the playing XI ahead of their win over the Joburg Super Kings (JSK) and had a solid outing, and should retain his place in the team for this one.

The 30-year-old all-rounder, who made a name for himself with good performances on both his ODI and Test debut last month, has minimal Dream11 ownership and could become a very handy differential pick.

Bosch helped MICT restrict the JSK batters as he helped break the 97-run opening stand by picking up the wicket of the dangerous Faf du Plessis. He was unlucky not to pick up more wickets, with dropped catches not helping the cause.

Considering that he bowled overs in the powerplay, the middle overs, and the death, his wicket-taking prospects look very solid. For those looking for a high-ceiling, but risky Dream11 differential, Bosch could be the right fit.

#1 Matthew Breetzke (BAT) (DSG)

Durban Super Giants' opener Matthew Breetzke, like Heinrich Klaasen, has had a very forgettable tournament, with his 33-run cameo in their first match against Pretoria his only good knock so far. Understandably, his Dream11 ownership has dropped to fairly minimal levels, creating the opportunity for him to become a potential differential.

Not only does Breetzke like batting in Durban, he also has a stellar record against MI Cape Town. In three innings, the dashing opener has scored 135 runs, getting dismissed only twice. An average of 43.4 and a strike rate of 147.7 in nine innings at Kingsmead further strengthen his cause.

He could be a high-scoring Dream11 differential in this fixture.
