Playing XI Updates
Guyana Amazon Warriors
With a strong roster in their disposal, the Amazon Warriors are the favourites to win this game. Led by Malik, they boast of several talented West Indians such as Shimron Hetmyer, Keemo Paul and Nicholas Pooran.
Adding to the aforementioned trio, Sherfane Rutherford's big-hitting abilities are well documented as well. With the experience of Shoaib Malik and Ben Laughlin serving them well, Guyana are favourites to win the competition. Keegan Simmons and Chanderpaul Hemraj should open the batting for them with Pooran, Hetmyer, Rutherford and Malik set to slot into the middle order.
In Shadab Khan and Chris Green, they have an able spin duo who can contribute with the bat as well. Laughlin and Paul will take responsibility with the new ball while Shepherd is also one to watch out for.
Possible XI: Hemraj, Simmons, Pooran (WK), Hetmyer, Malik, Rutherford, Shadab, Green (C), Paul, Shepherd and Laughlin.
St Lucia Zouks
Even before the start of the tournament, the franchise of St Lucia has been dealt a few problems, beginning with a change in name. Adding to that, the unavailability of Lasith Malinga and Niroshan Dickwella could prove to be a major blow.
John Campbell and Andre Fletcher will be key for them at the top of the order while the leg-spin of Fawad Ahmed should also come into play as the game progresses. Krishmar Santokie, who is the second-highest wicket-taker in CPL history, should also get a game alongside Kesrick Williams and Obed McCoy. Najibullah Zadran and Darren Sammy will be banked to take up the finishing responsibility against a formidable Amazon Warriors side on Friday.
Possible XI: Campbell, Fletcher(WK), Nitish Kumar, Najibullah, Sammy(C), Barnwell, Cornwall, Santokie, Fawad, Williams and McCoy

Pitch Report:
As is the case with all pitches in West Indies, spinners should find some turn although the Providence Stadium is traditionally a high scoring game. There should be some swing on offer for the new ball bowlers with 160-170 being par on this surface.
Fantasy Tips and Suggestions
Wicket-keeper: Nicholas Pooran is the preferred option for the wicketkeeper's slot given his immense potential as a T20 batsman. Although Andre Fletcher is also a decent option, Pooran could be expected to score some runs in the top order on his Guyana Amazon Warriors debut on Friday.
Batsmen: Shimron Hetmyer and John Campbell are must-have players for this game while the likes of Chanderpaul Hemraj and Najibullah Zadran are also decent options to have in the fantasy side. While Simmons is also one to watch out for, the aforementioned quartet should do well on Friday.
All-rounders: With many all-rounders on offer, Keemo Paul, Shoaib Malik and Rakheem Cornwall are the ones to have in your side. Although Shadab Khan's leg-spin is also worth picking in the side, the experience of Paul and Malik along with the all-round abilities of Cornwall should suffice.
Bowlers: One could expect Chris Green to do well, as the Australian should pick a wicket or two with his variations in speed serving him well. Along with him, Fawad Ahmed is also a great bowler to have in the fantasy team. Kesrick Williams is a very capable death bowler could trouble the opposition batsmen while the likes of Ben Laughlin and Krishmar Santokie are also decent options to consider for this game.
Captain: Nicholas Pooran and Shimron Hetmyer are two of the best West Indian batsmen in the format and should be considered for captaincy as well. If one were to pick from the St Lucia Zouks, John Campbell would also do the trick with the south-paw in decent form as well.
