Set 3 was fairly low-scoring, with one match abandoned and a few popular picks and fixtures turning out to be more dull affairs than expected. However, Bangladesh did churn out a few solid Fantasy picks, with the differential options of Rishad Hossain, Taskin Ahmed, and Tanzim Hasan Sakib all having good outings.

Set 4 sees New Zealand and Nepal play twice while the USA and Oman won't have any fixtures. Let's now look at the Best Fantasy XI for Set 4

Transfer Deadline: 05:00 AM (IST) on Saturday, June 15, and 07:30 PM (local) on Friday.

Set Preview

The qualification for the Super 8 has already been decided for Group C, and based on the result of the USA's rain-threatened Florida meeting with Ireland, we should receive confirmation of the Group A qualification scenario as well.

Some top teams will miss out on the Super 8 Stages and could opt to hand out some game-time to some of their bench players. Meanwhile, teams like India, South Africa, and Australia who have already qualified could also rest some key players in their encounters.

New Zealand and Nepal play twice in this set. The USA and Oman have no fixtures in this one, with the Black Caps having a very favorable set of fixtures, taking on Uganda, and Papua New Guinea, while Nepal will be up against South Africa and Bangladesh.

Fixtures to target will include Bangladesh and the Proteas' clash with Nepal, both of New Zealand's matches, England's meeting with Namibia, and Australia's clash with Scotland.

Team Selection

I've opted to play the Catchers Carnival Booster for this Set, and while it's not possible to accurately predict the players who'll take the most catches for a team, it is possible to pick a few players in a team who take plenty of catches and are also good Fantasy picks otherwise.

I've understandably tripled up on New Zealand, with Trent Boult and Devon Conway shoo-ins, with both players taking plenty of catches for the side. I've opted to go with Mitchell Santner over a second pacer because of the rotation threat that Matt Henry brings. With the wickets slowing down, Santner's spin should be a handful for the two associate nations.

From Nepal, I've picked their captain Rohit Paudel as one of my three batters purely because I couldn't find another satisfactory option. He is the team's best batter on paper, and with two fixtures in hand, he could score some handy points.

I've also punted on all-rounder and Fantasy favorite Dipendra Singh Airee. He should hit some lusty blows with the bat, and could also create an impact with the ball on these bowler-friendly tracks.

Coming to the other picks, I'm backing Ottneil Baartman and Mustafizur Rahman to have good games against a fragile-looking Nepal batting unit. Picking other bowlers like Anrich Nortje, Taskin Ahmed, or Rishad Hossain from the same fixtures wouldn't be a bad idea either.

Wanindu Hasaranga and Sri Lanka will look to bow out of the tournament with pride, and a contest against the Netherlands makes the Sri Lankan captain a solid Fantasy pick. The England captain Jos Buttler is a good source of catch points in addition to his ability with the bat, and expect him to fire on all cylinders in a must-win game for his team against Namibia.

Lastly, I'm backing Travis Head and Reeza Hendricks to come good in Set 4. Head was in blistering form against Namibia, and with the team's qualification sealed, he could go out and play with more freedom and score plenty of runs against Scotland.

Hendricks has been in woeful form up till now, but a game against Nepal in conditions outside of New York offers him the chance to get back among the runs. He's also a very busy figure on the field and is expected to be in most of the catching hotspots.

Captaincy: Trent Boult against Uganda and Papua New Guinea seems like the obvious choice, and that's what I'm on right now, but a more differential option from the same team could also work wonders in this set.
