IND vs WI Dream11 Prediction, Fantasy Cricket Tips & Playing XI Updates for Today's Cricket Match - 1st T20, Dec 6th, 2019
The third T20I series of the 2019-20 home season for India pits them against West Indies as both the teams square off in the first T20 on Friday. The Indian Cricket Team comes into this series on the back of a win over Bangladesh. The return of Virat Kohli to the squad will add much-needed firepower as well.
On the other hand, West Indies is in a phase of transition. Without the likes of Andre Russell and Sunil Narine, their young guns lost to Afghanistan last month. Nevertheless, the Kieron Pollard-led side has a lot of talent in their ranks.
With Hyderabad hosting this much-awaited clash, both the sides would want to get a win to start this series. Here are a few tips to help you pick your Dream11 team for IND vs WI.

IND vs WI Playing XI Updates
India
Shikhar Dhawan is injured and has been replaced by Sanju Samson in the squad. However, in all likelihood, Samson will have to wait for his chance with Rishabh Pant being the preferred keeper. KL Rahul is slated to open the batting with Rohit Sharma with Virat Kohli at number three. Shreyas Iyer sealed the number four spot after a sensational fifty against Bangladesh in the third T20I and will look to build on that performance.
Their bowling, however, will bear a new look from the one that featured against Bangladesh. With Krunal Pandya and Khaleel Ahmed not included in the side, Ravindra Jadeja could partner Yuzvendra Chahal with Shivam Dube providing the sixth bowler's option. Washington Sundar should also feature while Bhuvneshwar Kumar is more likely to get the nod over Shami to partner Deepak Chahar with the new ball.
Possible XI: Rohit, Rahul, Virat(C), Iyer, Pant(WK), Dube, Sundar, Jadeja, Bhuvneshwar, Chahar and Chahal.
West Indies
Nicholas Pooran is suspended for the first T20I after he was found guilty of ball-tampering but he will be available for the last two games. Denesh Ramdin will feature in this game as the wicketkeeper in Pooran's place. The experienced Lendl Simmons is set to open alongside the explosive Evin Lewis. Shimron Hetmyer and Kieron Pollard hold the key in the middle order with the duo of Fabian Allen and Sherfane Rutherford expected to provide the impetus in the latter overs. Jason Holder is another key all-rounder in this side although the bowling unit heavily revolves around Sheldon Cottrell. Keemo Paul and Kesrick Williams are also in the running for a place in the side with Paul's IPL experience holding him in good stead.
Possible XI: Simmons, Lewis, Hetmyer, Pollard(C), Ramdin(WK), Rutherford, Allen, Holder, Cottrell, Paul and Walsh.

IND vs WI Pitch Report
As seen in last year's IPL, the pitch has something in it for the bowlers. While there is some turn on offer for the spinners, the batsmen should also be able to play their natural game. Chasing will be the preferred option with slight dew coming into play in the second innings.
IND vs WI Fantasy Tips and Suggestions
Wicket-keeper: Although Rishabh Pant is the better T20 player than Denesh Ramdin, India's formidable top order means Pant might not get enough time in the middle to make an impact. This is why Ramdin gets the nod over Pant with the West Indian playing as the floater.
Batsmen: Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli are must-have players in this game. Along with them, one of Shreyas Iyer or KL Rahul should also make the cut with both of them in good form. While Rahul impressed for Karnataka in their Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy campaign, Shreyas Iyer's last knock for Mumbai saw him plunder 80 runs off just 40 balls against a decent Punjab bowling unit. As from the West Indian roster, Lendl Simmons and Evin Lewis are viable options.
All-rounders: While a number of all-rounder options are available, picking those who are sure to make an impact with either bat or ball would be critical. Kieron Pollard has led by example in the recent Afghanistan series with vital contributions. While he is a must-have in the side, one of Shivam Dube or Washington Sundar could also be picked. If one were to pick an extra all-rounder, Jason Holder fits the bill with his incisive swing bowling.
Bowlers: The in-form Deepak Chahar is bound to feature in most fantasy teams for this game. Along with the CSK pacer, Yuzvendra Chahal is also a fine option while Bhuvneshwar Kumar's record in Hyderabad having played for SRH also bodes well for his inclusion. Sheldon Cottrell is West Indies' best bowler in the shorter formats and should be picked as well. If included in the playing XI, Keemo Paul could also prove to be a worthwhile punt.
Captain: The new crowned #1 batsmen in the Test format, Virat Kohli is a proven performer in T20Is as well. With an average of 50, he is one of the prime candidates for the multiples options along with Rohit Sharma. If one were to prefer a bowling option as captain or vice-captain, Yuzvendra Chahal would suffice with his recent form taken into consideration.
Fantasy Suggestion #1: Denesh Ramdin, Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli, Shreyas Iyer, Lendl Simmons, Kieron Pollard, Jason Holder, Yuzvendra Chahal, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Deepak Chahar and Sheldon Cottrell. Captain: Virat Kohli, Vice-Captain: Yuzvendra Chahal
Fantasy Suggestion #2: Rishabh Pant, Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma, KL Rahul, Evin Lewis, Kieron Pollard, Jason Holder, Washington Sundar, Sheldon Cottrell, Yuzvendra Chahal and Deepak Chahar. Captain: Rohit Sharma, Vice-Captain: Virat Kohli
