IPL Fantasy Cricket Tips
IPL Fantasy Cricket Tips

Both teams in the spotlight this Friday as part of the IPL 2019 extravaganza, Sunrisers Hyderabad and Rajasthan Royals, were undone by a lackluster final overs with both bat and ball, leading to disappointing starts to their campaigns.

Nevertheless, SRH return to their famed fortress as they look to set things right by posting their first win on to the IPL Points Table at the expense of the Royals, who look to bounce back from the 'mankading' controversy, at the centre of whose attention is star batsman, Jos Buttler.

With a golden opportunity to trigger their challenge for the IPL trophy this year, here are a few tips to help you sort out your fantasy dilemmas for this match.

Sunrisers Hyderabad

Kane Williamson (C), Bhuvneshwar Kumar, David Warner, Shreevats Goswami, Wriddhiman Saha, Jonny Bairstow, Martin Guptill, Manish Pandey, Yusuf Pathan, Deepak Hooda, Ricky Bhui, Abhishek Sharma, Vijay Shankar, Shakib Al Hasan, Mohammad Nabi, Rashid Khan, Shahbaz Nadeem, Khaleel Ahmed, Siddharth Kaul, Sandeep Sharma, Natarajan, Basil Thampi, Billy Stanlake

Rajasthan Royals

Ajinkya Rahane(C), Steve Smith, Jos Buttler, Sanju Samson, Ben Stokes, Ashton Turner, Liam Livingstone, Prashant Chopra, Shashank Singh, Shubham Ranjane, Mahipal Lomror, Riyan Parag, Jofra Archer, Manan Vohra, Aryaman Birla, Rahul Tripathi, Stuart Binny, Shreyas Gopal, Krishnappa Gowtham, Ish Sodhi, Jaydev Unadkat, Dhawal Kulkarni, Varun Aaron, Oshane Thomas, S. Midhun.

Playing XI Updates

Sunrisers Hyderabad:

Jonny Bairstow should ideally make way for captain, Kane Williamson for their first home game of the season. This change forces a second change elsewhere with Deepak Hooda being replaced with Saha to don the gloves for the Orange Army.

Vijay Shankar batted at number three in the previous match but will have be content with a middle order position for this game with Williamson's arrival.

The bowling looks quite formidable and will be looking to replicate their extraordinary performances from the previous year, this time around as well

Possible XI: Warner, Saha (WK), Williamson (C), Manish, Shakib, Yusuf, Shankar, Rashid, Bhuvneshwar, Kaul and Sandeep/Khaleel.

Rajasthan Royals

Jos Buttler once again came up with the goods in what seemed to be a gun-shot victory for the Royals until the death overs where the batting imploded against the likes of Shami and Mujeeb. No changes are expected from them although they could be pondering at replacing Tripathi with a more able power-hitter in Mahipal Lomror. The youngster has played a couple of matches of RR in previous years and could be handy with his bowling and fielding skills as well.

Possible XI: Rahane (C), Buttler(WK), Smith, Samson, Buttler, Tripathi/Lomror, Gowtham, Gopal, Archer, Unadkat, Kulkarni

Fantasy Tips and Suggestions:

Wicket-keeper: Inspite of his rich form, Jos Buttler might have to be compromised for a more rounded eleven with Saha set to feature in the SRH side. Saha has been in decent form of late and could be a viable option at the top of the order.

Batsmen: David Warner and Sanju Samson are must have selections for this match while the likes of Manish Pandey, Steven Smith and Ajinkya Rahane are also viable options with all three of them having an IPL hundred to their names over their careers.

Manish Pandey has underwhelmed for SRH and would be itching to put in a good performance on what should be a sluggish pitch on Friday.

All-rounders: Ben Stokes has happy memories in Hyderabad with an all-round performance yielding 39 runs and 3 wickets for the Rising Pune Supergiant in 2017. He is one of the most destructive allrounders in the game and along with the likes of Vijay Shankar and Shakib Al Hasan, he is crucial to this fantasy team with his superior skill-set.

Bowlers: Jofra Archer and Rashid Khan are two of the world's leading bowlers in this format with their expertise in high demand all over the world. Both of them are invaluable picks to the side while one of Bhuvneshwar Kumar or Kaul should make the cut. Jaydev Unadkat could replace Jofra Archer in case one were to include Jos Buttler in the wicket-keepers section.

Captain: Sanju Samson hasn't been able to sustain his form throughout an IPL season but could turn things around this time with a solid thirty to his name already. He is one of the contenders for captaincy alongside Ben Stokes and David Warner while Rashid Khan is also an brave yet clever option to have as your captain.

Dotball Fantasy Suggestion #1: W. Saha (WK), David Warner, Manish Pandey, Sanju Samson, Ajinkya Rahane, Ben Stokes, Krishnappa Gowtham, Shakib Al Hasan, Sid Kaul, Jofra Archer and Rashid Khan. Captain: Ben Stokes

Dotball Fantasy Suggestion #1: Jos Buttler (WK), Kane Williamson, Manish Pandey, Sanju Samson, Ajinkya Rahane, Ben Stokes, Vijay Shankar, Shreyas Gopal, Sid Kaul, Jaydev Unadkat and Rashid Khan. Captain: Sanju Samson
