JOZ vs DUR Dream11 Prediction, Fantasy Cricket Tips & Playing XI Updates for Today's MSL 2019 Match - Dec 7th, 2019
Jozi Stars resume their search for their first win of MSL 2019 as they host Durban Heat on Saturday. Champions in the previous edition, Jozi Stars' new-look side hasn't fired with seven losses in the league so far.
Although Reeza Hendricks and Temba Bavuma have done well, they haven't clicked as a unit. While they are out of the reckoning for a top-three finish, their opponents, Durban Heat is firmly in the race with three consecutive wins. They come into this game on the back of stunning run chase against the much-fancied, Paarl Rocks earlier this week.
Durban Heat should fancy their chances of getting one over the Stars although no team can be taken lightly in such a tournament. Here are a few tips to help you pick your Dream11 team for JOZ vs DUR.

Playing XI Updates
Jozi Stars
Jozi Stars will be pondering a few changes with only pride left to salvage for them in MSL 2019. Lizaad Williams is likely to make way for Dane Paterson while Ryan Rickelton could be given another opportunity to reinstate his credentials at the top of the order. Reeza Hendricks and Temba Bavuma have scored 275 and 232 runs respectively although much is expected from Rassie van der Dussen, who hasn't fired in MSL 2019 so far. Their bowling unit is also due for a good collective performance with Kagiso Rabada being one to watch out for in this game.
Possible XI: Rickelton, Hendricks, Bavuma(C), Dussen, Malik, Christian, Qeshile (WK), Phangiso, Paterson/Williams, Rabada and Olivier
Durban Heat
No changes are expected from Durban Heat with the Dane Vilas led side pulling off three consecutive 170+ chases. David Miller has been the standout player for the Heat with the likes of Vilas, Wihan Lubbe and Alex Hales complementing him nicely. Wesley Marshall hasn't justified his place in the side although he could be given another go at the top of the order. Kyle Abbott and Keshav Maharaj are key to their fortunes with the ball while Daryn Dupavillon should get the nod over Marco Jansen for this game as well.
Possible XI: Marshall/Erwee, Hales, Lubbe, Miller, Vilas(C&WK), Bopara, Phehlukwayo, Siboto, Abbott, Maharaj and Dupavillon.

A good batting track is expected at the Wanderers with scores of 170 and above being expected on Saturday. However, the weather forecast isn't too great with persistent rains threatening the match. The forecast hasn't been great throughout the week with all the signs pointing towards a rain-curtailed game.
Fantasy Tips and Suggestions
Wicketkeeper: Considering Ryan Rickelton's poor form in MSL 2019, Dane Vilas is the preferred option for this game. The Durban Heat captain has done well this year with 134 runs in the middle order and looks good for more runs against the Jozi Stars as well. Sinethemba Qeshile is also a viable option but his lowly batting position is a major put off.
Batsmen: Reeza Hendricks has put in good performances consistently for Jozi Stars. With 275 runs to his name, Hendricks' stocks continue to rise, regardless of Jozi Stars' poor performance. Along with Hendricks, the likes of David Miller and Alex Hales are also great options for this game. Wihan Lubbe has also impressed this year with 175 runs and is a viable pick as well while one of Temba Bavuma or Rassie van der Dussen should also fit the bill.
Allrounders: Although his performances for Jozi Stars this year haven't been up to the mark, Daniel Christian is capable of scoring quick runs in the latter overs. Adding his bowling prowess into the equation just strengthens his case for inclusion in the Dream11 team. Along with the Aussie allrounder, Ravi Bopara and Andile Phehlukwayo are worthwhile candidates with both of them showing glimpses of what they are capable of in MSL 2019.
Bowlers: Kagiso Rabada picked three wickets in his last outing for Jozi Stars. Although they did end up on the losing end, Kagiso Rabada's form was a major plus. He should pick a wicket or two on Saturday along with the duo of Kyle Abbott and Malusi Siboto. With some turn on offer as well, Keshav Maharaj is a viable alternative as well with Aaron Phangiso also available for the taking.
Captain: Reeza Hendricks is Jozi Stars' best bet with the South African International consistently providing them with quick starts. He is bound to be one of the popular options for captaincy for this game along with David Miller, who is averaging 61.33 in MSL 2019. If one were to pick an all-rounder as a multiplier option, Daniel Christian should prove to be a good choice.
Fantasy Suggestion #1: Dane Vilas, David Miller, Alex Hales, Rassie van der Dussen, Reeza Hendricks, Andile Phehlukwayo, Daniel Christian, Kagiso Rabada, Duanne Olivier, Kyle Abbott and Malusi Siboto. Captain: Reeza Hendricks, Vice-Captain: David Miller
Fantasy Suggestion #2: Dane Vilas, Reeza Hendricks, Temba Bavuma, David Miller, Wihan Lubbe, Ravi Bopara, Daniel Christian, Kagiso Rabada, Aaron Phangiso, Kyle Abbott and Keshav Maharaj. Captain: David Miller, Vice-Captain: Daniel Christian
