The Quadrangular Series in Oman comes to a conclusion as the hosts aim to salvage some pride as they try and break their duck against Scotland on Sunday.

Scotland put in a spirited performance against the Irish after they were put to the knife by Paul Stirling and Kevin O'Brien in the first half of the innings and will be looking to sustain that momentum as they seek a win against the hosts.

Oman have impressed in patches against established teams such as Netherlands and Ireland but haven't seized the defining moments which has lead to their downfall. In their plight to end the tournament on a high, an entertaining match is on the cards between the two upcoming cricketing nations.

Squads to choose from

Oman:

Ajay Lalcheta (C), Khawar Ali, Wasim Ali, Fayyaz Butt, Aamir Kaleem, Kaleemullah, Bilal Khan, Mehran Khan, Naseem Khushi, Sufyan Mehmood, Mohammad Nadeem, Khurram Nawaz, Jay Odedra, Jatinder Singh.

Scotland:

Kyle Coetzer (C), Richie Berrington, Matthew Cross, Ally Evans, Chris Greaves, Michael Leask, Calum MacLeod, George Munsey, Adrian Neill, Safyaan Sharif, Ruaidhri Smith, Hamza Tahir, Craig Wallace and Mark Watt.

Playing XI Updates

Oman:

Opener Khawar Ali has underwhelmed in both matches but his status as one of their best helps him retain his spot for the next match as well. Khurram Khan and Naseem were at their best as they helped Oman overcome a difficult situation in the first innings.

Much is expected of Bilal Khan on Sunday with his ability to swing the ball at a good pace crucial against Coetzer and Munsey

Possible XI: Jatinder, Khawar Ali, Goud, Khurram, Mehran, Naseem(WK), Lalcheta (C), Nadeem, Fayyaz, Odedra and Bilal.

Scotland:

No changes are expected of the Scottish side with their marquee players performing well in their previous matches. Mark Watt was pivotal in putting the breaks on a rampant Irish batting unit in their second match while Ruaidhri Smith could face the axe for Hamza Tahir or Adrian Neill.

Possible XI: Munsey, Coetzer (C), MacLeod, Berrington, Cross(WK), Wallace, Leask, Watt, Safyaan, Evans and Tahir/Smith.

Fantasy Tips and Suggestions

Wicket-keeper: Naseem Khushi went ballistic towards the end with a vital cameo but considering Matt Cross' superior batting ability, the Scottish keeper should get nod for the wicket-keeper spot. He is due for a big one batting at number three and could come off big time on Sunday.

Batsmen: Two of Calum McLeod, George Munsey and captain Kyle Coetzer are great picks for the fantasy side considering the good pitch on offer. Along with the trio, in form batsmen, Jatinder Singh and Khurram Khan are also in the reckoning although Khawar Ali could also slot in for either of them.

All-rounders: Richie Berrington and Ajay Lalcheta provide the complete package with some tight overs and boundaries with the bat in hand. Both of them are invaluable to their respective teams and should be backed to put in a good performance in the last match of the series.

Bowlers: Safyaan Sharif and Bilal Khan are must haves in the side for obvious reasons. Along with them, the likes of Mark Watt, Mohammad Nadeem and Jay Odedra are great options to have in the side.

Captain: Kyle Coetzer and Matt Cross are the front-runners for captaincy while the likes of Ajay Lalcheta and Richie Berrington also provide ample options to choose from if required.

Fantasy Suggestion #1: Matt Cross (WK), George Munsey, Calum McLeod, Khawar Ali, Khurram Khan, Richie Berrington, Ajay Lalcheta, Mohammad Nadeem, Bilal Khan, Mark Watt and Safyaan Sharif. Captain: Matt Cross.

Fantasy Suggestion #2: Matt Cross(WK), Kyle Coetzer, George Munsey, Jatinder Singh, Khurram Khan, Richie Berrington, Michael Leask, Ajay Lalcheta, Safyaan Sharif, Bilal Khan and Mohammad Nadeem. Captain: Kyle Coetzer.
