In the last encounter of the first Dubai leg in this year's edition of the Pakistan Super League, perennial favourites Peshawar Zalmi face the Lahore Qalandars with only a win able to restart their dwindling campaigns.

Although PSL 2019 is just a few days old, Peshawar Zalmi would want to return to winning ways as they seek to shrug off their false start. Lahore on the other hand, did well to beat the Karachi Kings after being sent to bat initially. With a win helping both teams climb up the table, another thriller of a game is in store for us on Sunday.

Squads to choose from:

Peshawar Zalmi:

Wahab Riaz, Hasan Ali, Kieron Pollard, Darren Sammy (C), Kamran Akmal, Misbah-ul-Haq, Liam Dawson, Dawid Malan, Umar Amin, Umaid Asif, Khalid Usman, Wayne Madsen, Sohaib Maqsood, Jamal Anwar, Sameen Gul, Nabi Gul, Andre Fletcher, Chris Jordan, Ibtisam Sheikh, Samiullah, Imam-ul-Haq

Lahore Qalandars:

Mohammad Hafeez (C), Fakhar Zaman, Haris Sohail, AB de Villiers, Yasir Shah, Sohail Akhtar, Shaheen Shah Afridi, Rahat Ali, Agha Salman, Hassan Khan, Anton Devcich, Carlos Brathwaite, Corey Anderson, Sandeep Lamichhane, Mohammad Imran, Umair Masood, Brendan Taylor, Gohar Ali, Aizaz Cheema, Haris Rauf, David Wiese, Hardus Viljoen

Playing XI Updates:

Peshawar Zalmi:

Not many changes are expected from Peshawar with only one match done and dusted. The batting order should remain the same while Sameen Gul or Umaid Asif could sit this one out for a spinner, with a high possibility of both of them being persisted with. The onus is on Kamran Akmal to provide a whirlwind start at the top with the powerplay overs defining the course of the match more often than not this PSL.

Possible XI: Akmal(WK), Fletcher, Maqsood, Misbah, Pollard, Dawson, Sammy(C), Riaz, Hasan Ali, Umaid Asif and Sameen Gul.

Lahore Qalandars:

Both the Lahore openers have been in great form and will be key against a formidable Peshawar bowling unit. AB de Villiers hasn't fired yet but could find himself in the captain's shoes with Mohammed Hafeez walking off injured during their match against the Kings. The rest of the team should pick themselves.

Possible XI: Akhtar, Zaman, ABD(C), Salman, Devcich, Taylor(WK), Viljoen, Rauf, Shaheen, Yasir and Rahat Ali.

Fantasy Tips and Suggestions:

Wicket-keeper: With the two good options on offer, both Taylor and Kamran Akmal would make be great to have in the side. Kamran Akmal is the leading run-scorer in PSL history and can be backed to put in a telling performance against Lahore.

Batsmen: It's AB de Villiers' birthday and is a must-have in the side. To complement the South African, the likes of Shoaib Maqsood, Sohail Akhtar and Andre Fletcher would suffice. Fakhar Zaman and Misbah ul Haq are also viable options to have in your side.

All-rounders: Liam Dawson is a great option to have with the Englishman capable of easily clearing the ropes along with a few handy overs with the ball as well.

Bowlers: Two of Haris Rauf, Shaheen Afridi and Hardus Viljoen would suffice with the two Pakistanis wreaking havoc against Karachi. Umaid Asif and Hasan Ali are also great options to have in the time with the possibility of Wahab Riaz also slotting for either of them.

Captain: AB de Villiers and Hasan Ali are the prime candidates for captaincy. On a difficult pitch, their skill sets are sure to bring a good number of points with other options including the likes of Andre Fletcher and Shaheen Shah Afridi.

Fantasy Suggestion #1: Kamran Akmal (WK), AB de Villiers, Sohail Akhtar, Shoaib Maqsood, Anton Devcich, Andre Fletcher, Liam Dawson, Shaheen Shah Afridi, Haris Rauf, Hasan Ali and Umaid Asif. Captain: Andre Fletcher

Fantasy Suggestion #2: Brendan Taylor(WK), AB de Villiers, Anton Devcich, Andre Fletcher, Misbah-ul-Haq, Kieron Pollard, Liam Dawson, Shaheen Afridi, Hardus Viljoen, Umaid Asif and Wahab Riaz. Captain: AB de Villiers
