SKN vs TKR Dream11 Prediction, Fantasy Cricket Tips & Playing XI Updates for Today's CPL Match - September 18th, 2019
CPL 2019 action is back after a day's break as defending champions Trinbago Knight Riders face a daunting task as they travel to St Kitts to face the St Kitts and Nevis Patriots in a repeat clash of the opening fixture of the season.
The previous encounter between these two sides saw Kieron Pollard and Jimmy Neesham star for the Knight Riders as they overcame a top order collapse to get the better of the Patriots. While TKR top the table with four wins out of four, the Patriots are stuck in the middle of table with two wins in six games.
The Patriots have faced the wrath of injuries although they report none for this game with Evin Lewis and Sheldon Cottrell in fine form. They will enter the game as slight underdogs considering the form that TKR have enjoyed this season. Here are a few tips to help you pick your Dream11 team for SKN vs TKR.
Squads to choose from
St Kitts and Nevis Patriots
Evin Lewis, Shamarh Brooks, Isuru Udana, Fabian Allen, Mohammad Hafeez, Laurie Evans, Afif Hossain, Keron Cottoy, Aaron Jones, Carlos Brathwaite (C), Rayad Emrit, Devon Thomas, Sheldon Cottrell, Jeremiah Louis, Dominic Drakes, Akeem Jordan, Usama Mir.
Trinbago Knight Riders
Dwayne Bravo, Kieron Pollard (C), Sunil Narine, Colin Munro, Darren Bravo, Denesh Ramdin, Mohd Hasnain, Khary Pierre, James Neesham, Seekuge Prasanna, Amir Jangoo, Anderson Phillip, Mark Deyal, Tion Webster, Javon Searles, Akeal Hossain and Ali Khan.
Playing XI Updates
St Kitts and Nevis Patriots
After a complete performance against the St Lucia Zouks on Monday, the Patriots shouldn't be making any changes to a winning combination. The star of the show, Akeem Jordan picked four wickets on debut and looks to be the perfect support bowler to Sheldon Cottrell.
Usama Mir and Rayad Emrit have also done well of late although their fortunes depend on Evin Lewis and Laurie Evans in the top order. Mohammad Hafeez's experience bodes well while the finishing ability of Fabian Allen and Carlos Brathwaithe that gives the home side a slight advantage.
Possible XI: Lewis, Thomas(WK), Evans, Hafeez, Ottley, Allen, Brathwaithe (C), Emrit, Mir, Cottrell and Jordan
Trinbago Knight Riders
Similar to the hosts, the Knight Riders aren't expected to make any changes to their side with Colin Munro hitting the ground running in his first game against Jamaica. Simmons has scored two fifties in CPL 2019 and looks in good form along with Pollard and Ramdin contributing with some top knocks.
Led by Sunil Narine, their bowling unit is also well balanced with Mohammadd Hasnain picking wickets regularly with the new ball. They enter this game as the favourites with Jimmy Neesham providing the balance for the defending champions in the batting and bowling departments.
Possible XI: Simmons, Narine, Munro, Ramdin(WK), Pollard (C), Neesham, Searles, Pierre, Ali Khan, Hasnain and Prasanna.

Pitch Report
Although the pitch has considerably slowed down from the Jamaica vs St Kitts and Nevis Patriots game played earlier in the tournament, it still remains a good pitch to bat on. The seamers should get some help early on with a par score on this surface being 160. Teams should prefer chasing here and make use of the overcast conditions early on.
Fantasy Tips and Suggestions
Wicket-keeper: After a brilliant start to his CPL campaign, Devon Thomas is the preferred option for this slot with the SKN keeper scoring 137 runs in six games at the top of the order. Although Ramdin is a solid option as well, Thomas should shine through and earn some fantasy points.
Batsmen: Colin Munro began his CPL 2019 campaign with a bang as he scored a sensational 96* against a hapless Jamaica Tallawahs bowling unit. He is a must have player in the fantasy team along with the likes of Evin Lewis and Laurie Evans. One of Kieron Pollard or Lendl Simmons should suffice as the final batting option.
Allrounders: A number of quality allrounders are available for the taking although Sunil Narine stands out. The pitches in CPL are gradually getting slower, which suits Sunil Narine's skill-set perfectly. Along with the TKR opener, Jimmy Neesham and Fabian Allen should also chip in vital runs and wickets for their team's cause in this game.
Bowlers: Sheldon Cottrell has only picked one wicket since his return from injury last week. He is due for a good performance and is a worthwhile option for this game. While Hasnain is another good player to have in the side, all eyes will be upon young Akeem Jordan, who registered the second best figures on debut in CPL history on Monday. If one were to prefer another TKR bowler, Khary Pierre should do the trick with his canny left arm spin.
Captain: Colin Munro should be backed to continue his rich form in CPL 2019 on Wednesday as well. While the TKR star is one option, another viable candidate for captaincy would be Evin Lewis, who scored a fifty in the Patriot's win over St Lucia Zouks earlier in the week. Sunil Narine's skill set makes him a dangerous option as well and could be preferred if TKR bat first.
Fantasy Suggestion #1: Devon Thomas, Lendl Simmons, Colin Munro, Laurie Evans, Evin Lewis, Jimmy Neesham, Sunil Narine, Fabian Allen, Mohd Hasnain, Sheldon Cottrell and Akeem Jordan. Captain: Colin Munro, Vice-Captain: Evin Lewis
Fantasy Suggestion #2: Devon Thomas, Lendl Simmons, Colin Munro, Laurie Evans, Evin Lewis, Fabian Allen, Sunil Narine, Carlos Brathwaithe, Mohd Hasnain, Sheldon Cottrell and Khary Pierre. Captain: Sunil Narine, Vice-Captain: Evin Lewis
