Playing XI Updates
Central Districts Stags
The Stags do not have Seth Rance for this crucial game but can count upon Ryan McCone's return to the squads. Tom Bruce was the hero last time around when these two sides met and would be crucial to their fortunes once again.
Possible XI: Worker, Young, Foxcroft, Bruce(C), Clarkson, Cleaver(WK), Wheeler, McCone, Patel, Ludick and Barnett.
Northern District Knights
The Knights have also lost only one match all season and have no reason to change their side. Kyle Abbott is in fine form and has led the bowling well along with Scott Kuggeleijn and Daryl Mitchell. Corey Anderson has been the X-Factor for the team with crucial overs in the death.
Possible XI: Kelly, Siefert(WK), Brownlie(C), Mitchell, Anderson, Hampton, Flynn, Abbott, Nethula, Kuggeleijn and Walker.
Fantasy Tips and Suggestions
Wicket-keeper: Tim Siefert is one of the most destructive openers playing in the tournament right now and should be preferred over Cleaver in most cases. Siefert is due for a big score and this could be the match in which he could do so.
Batsmen: Tom Bruce and Will Young are in good form of late and should make it into the fantasy sides without much of a fuss. Daryl Mitchell and Corey Anderson have done well with bat and ball, making them invaluable selections.
All-rounders: George Worker has been in and out of the national side but has been underperforming this season with only glimpses of his batting prowess being displayed. Worker alongside Brett Hampton would suffice in the fantasy contest.
Bowlers: Scott Kuggeleijn, Kyle Abbott, Ben Wheeler and Blair Tickner are viable picks to choose, with their recent form also vindicating their selections. Ajaz Patel is also a handy option.
Fantasy Suggestion #1: Tim Siefert(WK), Tom Bruce, Will Young, Corey Anderson, Daryl Mitchell, George Worker, Brett Hampton, Ben Wheeler, Ajaz Patel, Kyle Abbott and Scott Kuggeleijn. Captain: George Worker.
Fantasy Suggestion #2: Tim Siefert(WK), Will Young, Dean Foxcroft, Daryl Mitchell, Corey Anderson, George Worker, Brett Hampton, Kyle Abbott, Scott Kuggeleijn, Ben Wheeler and Blair Tickner. Captain: Tim Siefert.
