Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy 2019, Round 6, Himachal Pradesh vs Rajasthan: Dream11 Prediction, Playing XI Updates & Fantasy Cricket Tips - February 28th, 2019
With only a handful of games left in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy, both Himachal Pradesh and last year's runners-up, Rajasthan, find themselves in a precarious situation with two wins out for their four games. On Thursday, they face each other in what is a potential knock-out game at the Lalabhai Contractor Stadium in Surat.
In possession of perhaps the most lethal bowling line-up in the competition, Rajasthan have flattered to deceive with under-par performances with the bat, whereas Himachal Pradesh haven't seized their opportunities with the likes of Rishi Dhawan and Mayank Dagar impressing in bits and pieces.
With qualification on the line, both teams are set to give their best as they seek to keep their campaign alive at the expense of the other.
Squads to choose from:
Himachal Pradesh
Ankush Bains, Sumeet Verma, Kanwar Abhinay Singh, Akshay Chandran, Prashant Chopra, Mayank Dagar, Rishi Dhawan, Nikhil Gangta, Gurvinder Singh, Pankaj Jaiswal, Ayush Jamwal, Ankit Kaushik, Ankit Maini, Nitin Sharma, Ekant Sen
Rajasthan

Playing XI Updates:
Himachal Pradesh
No changes are expected of the side that played against Tamil Nadu with Nikhil Gangta keeping his place in the side. Rishi Dhawan has been one of their go-to players, regardless of the format and will be backed to put in a good performance against a formidable Rajasthan side. Openers, Ankush Bains and Prashant Chopra are key to Himachal Pradesh, with their inexperienced middle order coming into play during the latter stages.
Possible XI: Bains(c&wk), Chopra, Verma, Maini, Ekant, Rishi, Nitin, Dagar, Gangta, Jamwal and Abhinay.
Rajasthan
Manender Singh's poor form could see the return of Abhijeet Tomar at the top of the order for Rajasthan. Mahipal Lomror and the rest of the batting has underperformed so far, leading an indifferent campaign. More is expected of them in a crucial match. While Khaleel Ahmed has been the standout bowler of the entire competition itself, with 11 wickets in just three games to his name, Deepak Chahar is yet to rekindle his 2017-18 exploits and could come good against the likes of Bains and Chopra.
Possible XI: Tomar, Garhwal, Robin Bist, Lomror(c), Chetan(wk), Tajinder, Deepak Chahar, Rahul Chahar, Bishnoi, Nathu and Khaleel.

Fantasy Cricket Tips and Suggestions:
Wicket-keeper: Ankush Bains is the preferred option over Chetan Bist, considering his recent form and batting position. Bains is one of the key batsmen for Himachal Pradesh and is bound to score some runs against a good new ball pairing of Deepak Chahar and Khaleel Ahmed.
Batsmen: Prashant Chopra is a great option to have with his attacking prowess known to one and all. The likes of Nikhil Gangta, Ankit Maini and Aditya Garhwal are also viable options to have considering their record in the tournament. Ankit Maini also chips in with his bowling, which opens up another outlet for points.
All-rounders: Mahipal Lomror and Rishi Dhawan are must have players in the side considering their all-round abilities. The hard-hitting, Tajinder Dhillon is also a great option to have in the side, who could even be replaced with Ravi Bishnoi in case a bowling option is preferred.
Bowlers: Deepak Chahar, Khaleel Ahmed, and Mayank Dagar are must haves, who form the base of the fantasy side. With the pitch also favoring the bowlers, expect them to have a huge impact on the proceedings. One of Ayush Jamwal and Rahul Chahar would also suffice in rounding off an impressive team on paper.
Captain: Mahipal Lomror started the campaign in good fashion but has faded since then. He is due for a big score and should be backed as captain. The likes of Deepak Chahar, Prashant Chopra, and Khaleel Ahmed are also great options have as captain along with Lomror.
