In what is an inconsequential match in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy for Baroda, they try and salvage some lost pride as they take on table-toppers Uttar Pradesh at the Palam A Stadium in Delhi. Uttar Pradesh have been in rampant form with Samarth Singh and Akshdeep Nath leading the way for them, while Baroda's big three of Devdhar, Yusuf Pathan and Hooda haven't fired in unison to sustain their recent resurgence in domestic cricket.

With a win making sure of qualification, UP head into this match as the firm favourites, although it isn't as straightforward as it seems with Baroda's strength in bowling.

Squads to choose from:

Baroda:

Kedar Devdhar, Vishnu Solanki, Rishi Arothe, Bhargav Bhatt, Deepak Hooda, Karthik Kakade, Lukman Meriwala, Mohit Mongia, Mitesh Patel, Babashafi Pathan, Yusuf Pathan, Pratyush Kumar, Pratik Salunke, Atit Sheth, Swapnil Singh

Uttar Pradesh:

Akshdeep Nath, Ankit Rajpoot, Aryan Juyal, Shubham Chaubey, Priyam Garg, Mohit Jangra, Mohsin Khan, Suresh Raina, Samarth Singh, Saurabh Kumar, Shiva Singh, Rinku Singh, Upendra Yadav, Yash Dayal, Nalin Mishra, Bobby Yadav, Ankit Chaudhary, Zeeshan Ansari

Playing XI Updates:

Baroda:

Not many changes are expected from Baroda, although they can field some fringe players in their last league match. The onus will be on Kedar Devdhar to set a base for the likes of Yusuf Pathan and Deepak Hooda to propel Baroda to a match-winning total. The bowling is fairly settled with the likes of Arothe and Sheth doing well in all of their matches.

Possible XI: Mitesh(WK), Devdhar(C), Deepak Hooda, Yusuf Pathan, Salunke, Swapnil, Solanki, Sheth, Arothe, Bhatt and Meriwala.

Uttar Pradesh:

No changes are expected of Uttar Pradesh as well, with Samarth Singh amongst the highest run-scorers in the competition. Suresh Raina hasn't able to tee off and would be looking to come good before the league stage gets over. Ankit Rajpoot and Saurabh Kumar have been fairly impressive with the ball in hand and have been supported by Yash Dayal.

Possible XI: Upendra(WK), Samarth, Raina, Akshdeep(C), Rinku, Garg, Saurabh, Ankit, Dayal, Zeeshan and Chaudhary.

Fantasy Tips and Suggestions:

Wicket-keeper: Both Upendra Yadav and Mitesh Patel are great options although Mitesh's recent form should give him the nod. Upendra Yadav is batting at a position where he hasn't played in a long while.

Batsmen: Suresh Raina should be backed despite his lack of form, along with the likes of Samarth Singh, Kedhar Devdhar and Deepak Hooda. Rinku Singh is also a possible option to have in the side at the expense of Samarth Singh.

All-rounders: Yusuf Pathan and Swapnil Singh are must haves in the fantasy team with their ability known to one and all. Saurabh Kumar is also a viable option to have in the side with his economical bowling impressing in the previous games.

Bowlers: Ankit Rajpoot and Rishi Arothe are good players to have in the side with the likes of Lukman Meriwala, Atit Sheth and Yash Dayal amongst the other options to complete the fantasy team. Sheth has been Baroda's best bowler this season and could prove to be a worth-while selection if picked.

Captain: Suresh Raina is one of India's best T-20 batsmen and should be backed to come good on Saturday. Along with Raina, the other options for captaincy are Akshdeep Nath and Deepak Hooda, who themselves are in good form and itching to go big in their last league match this season.

Fantasy Suggestion #1: Mitesh Patel (WK), Suresh Raina, Samarth Singh, Kedhar Devdhar, Deepak Hooda, Swapnil Singh, Yusuf Pathan, Akshdeep Nath, Ankit Rajpoot, Yash Dayal and Rishi Arothe. Captain: Suresh Raina

Fantasy Suggestion #2: Mitesh Patel (WK), Suresh Raina, Rinku Singh, Kedhar Devdhar, Yusuf Pathan, Deepak Hooda, Saurabh Kumar, Akshdeep Nath, Ankit Rajpoot, Rishi Arothe and Yash Dayal. Captain: Deepak Hooda
