West Indies vs England, 5th ODI: Dream11 Prediction, Playing XI Updates & Fantasy Cricket Tips - March 2nd, 2019
After a high-scoring fourth ODI, it all comes down to the fifth and final match between England and West Indies with the series on the line. Jos Buttler and Eoin Morgan smashed the Windies bowlers all over the park as they scored in excess of 400 runs.
Chris Gayle, though had other ideas as he struck a six-laden hundred to keep the Windies' hopes intact. Gayle's knock went in vain as the hosts fell short by 29 runs. With the match set to take place in St. Lucia, the hosts will look to level the series and add to England's misery.
Squads to choose from:
West Indies:
Jason Holder(C), Chris Gayle, Shai Hope, Darren Bravo, John Campbell, Shimron Hetmyer, Carlos Brathwaite, Fabian Allen, Ashley Nurse, Nicolas Pooran, Devendra Bishoo, Oshane Thomas, Kemar Roach, and Sheldon Cottrell.

Playing XI Updates:
West Indies:
Andre Russell wasn't fit enough to play in the previous match but should make an appearance on Saturday. Carlos Brathwaite's rearguard fifty should reserve his position in the side which leaves Oshane Thomas and Bishoo in danger of being left out. The rest of the side should remain the same with Darren Bravo and Shimron Hetmyer in good form for them.
Possible XI: Campbell, Gayle, Hope(WK), Bravo, Hetmyer, Holder(C), Brathwaithe, Russell, Nurse, Bishoo/Thomas, and Cottrell.
England:
England could afford to make a few changes to side as part of their World Cup preparations. With Mark Wood booking a place in the World Cup squad, he could sit this match out for Tom Curran while Chris Woakes is also in danger of missing out after a woeful performance. Jason Roy should return to the side after missing the fourth ODI at the expense of Alex Hales.
Possible XI: Hales/Roy, Bairstow, Root, Morgan(C), Stokes, Buttler(WK), Ali, Woakes/Curran, Rashid, Plunkett, and Curran.
Fantasy Tips and Suggestions:
Wicket-keeper: Both Shai Hope and Jos Buttler are great options to have considering their form and the nature of the pitch. Jos Buttler blasted a hundred batting at number five in the previous ODI and can be expected to back it up with another imperative performance.
Batsmen: Joe Root, Shimron Hetmyer and Jonny Bairstow are great options to have in the side with the latter yet to fully make a mark on the series. One of Chris Gayle or Darren Bravo could also be picked in case of an additional batting option.
All-rounders: Andre Russell's selection is subject to his fitness while Jason Holder and Ben Stokes are must-haves in the side. Ben Stokes has excelled with the ball in hand and is one to keep an eye on during the fifth and final ODI.
Bowlers: Adil Rashid lived up to his reputation with a timely fifer to guide England to a deserving win. He is a must have in the side along with the likes of Sheldon Cottrell and Liam Plunkett.
Captain: Jonny Bairstow has a knack of scoring in the series finales and should be backed to score some runs after a blitzkrieg in the previous ODI. Along with him, the likes of Joe Root and Shai Hope are also great options to have as captain.
