A down-to-earth and hardworking midfielder in his playing days, Guillermo Amor was the no.10 playmaker who had gained mastery in the art of creating spaces for fellow teammates that led to goals.

The midfielder was also known for having excellent composure on the ball along with efficient technique and threatening forward runs. Due to his attitude as a player, he became a role-model for many youngsters at the club, including Pep Guardiola.

In a career that spanned ten years at the Nou Camp, Amor made a total 490 appearances and scored 90 goals for the club.
