Top 20 Football Cities from around the world
In an interesting piece which came out in the German media today, they have listed 20 cities from around the world which a real football fan should have visited in his life-time and watch possibly matches at the mentioned stadia and grounds.
The list is a very interesting mix of cities in Europe, South American and South Africa with Asia completely missing in the mix. Surely a Tokyo or Cairo and our own Kolkata could have been in the mix, but otherwise it is a great list put together with the key European cities all represented, though I feel Cape Town doesn’t necessarily make the list.
And if you aren’t a ground hopper it will be very difficult to have visited all these cities and stadia in your life time. Or you have enough time and money to travel around the world.
As it is a German report no German city or regions like Munich and the Ruhr valley made it into this Top 20 list.
