2013/14 German Cup: Draw out for Round 2

The draw for the second round of the 2013/14 German Cup (DFB Pokal) was held earlier today, with some really interesting clashes to look forward to.

The draw was carried out in the ARD Sportschau, and this time without any hiccups, like in the opening round draw. This time the draw was carried out by German women’s international Lena Goeßling and Oliver Bierhoff, manager of the German men’s team.

Triple winners Bayern Munich host Bundesliga rivals Hannover 96, while finalists VfB Stuttgart have to travel to SC Freiburg for a southwest derby and 2012 champions Borussia Dortmund have a journey down south to TSV 1860 Munich.

The matches will be played on September 24/25, 2013.
