2013/14 UEFA Champions League playoffs draw pit AC Milan against PSV Eindhoven

The draw for the final round of qualifiers for the 2013/14 UEFA Champions League was carried out earlier today in Nyon, Switzerland.

There are some really interesting encounters in the qualifiers though it is difficult to pick one out. One of the most viewed match will be between Dutch giants PSV Eindhoven and seven time champions AC Milan of Italy.

Other top clashes include Fenerbahce Istanbul against PL side FC Arsenal, Olympique Lyon and surprise Spanish qualifiers Real Sociedad and German Bundesliga side FC Schalke 04 against FC Metalist Kharkiv from the Ukraine.

The playoff matches will be played on August 20/21 and August 27/28. The draw for the UEFA Champions League group stage will be held on August 29 in Monaco with the losing sides from the playoffs getting a place in the group stage of the UEFA Europa League.

This seasons final will be played at the Estádio do Sport Lisboa e Benfica in Portugal on Saturday, May 24.
