3 Chelsea stars who could leave in January

With the January Transfer Window fast lurking, the Premier League sides are significantly looking to add steel to their squad. The Blues from Stamford Bridge have had a mixed start to the campaign and sit fourth in the table, four points behind leaders Arsenal. Jose Mourinho might have been very lucky with last week’s penalty for a blatant Ramires’ dive against West Brom but Chelsea have hardly set the grounds blazing even though with the squad depth they possess at their disposal.

With Mourinho certainly in the market for a new striker who could significantly bolster their firepower up front going into the second half of the campaign, there might be several players who might head for the exit tunnel at Stamford Bridge.

Demba Ba

While Jose Mourinho was in Belgium to witness Falcao’s team beat the likes of a talented Belgium side, Chelsea are certainly in the search of a new striker who can bolster their attacking weaklinks. With Torres, Eto’o or Ba none finding their form over the past weeks, it looks like Mourinho will be handed enough money to sign a major striker come January. This perhaps signals the end of Demba Ba’s career at Stamford Bridge. With Arsenal also in the market to provide Oliver Giroud some cover, Ba remains the perfect ploy at a meagre fiscal ramification. The Former Newcastle man might be available for a cheap price. However, will Chelsea sell to their direct rival?
