With both men named in Didier Deschamps squad for France, they will play alongside each other at the World Cup. However, on Saturday one will look to get the better of the other and provide his team with a better chance at winning the contest.
Both players have got the better of each other in previous meetings and will be a closely fought encounter between two of the best midfielders in the league. With solid pace, passing, work rate and break up play, Kante could halt Pogba's galloping runs.
