3 Midfielders Juventus could target next season
Since winning the Serie A in 2011-12 season Juventus have won the competition for six consecutive times and with the arrival of Massimiliano Allegri in the 2014-15 season, no team has managed to win anything in Itlay, not even the Coppa Italia.
Though this will change this season as Juve have been knocked out of the Coppa Italia this season. With every season, the Old Lady have taken their game to a new level by reaching the Champions League final twice and they have also made improvements to their squads with each passing year despite the departure of key players.
After dominating the domestic league the Bianconeri started dominating their rivals in the transfer market as well by signing players such as Pajnic form Roma, Higuain from Napoli and Bernadeschi from Fiorentina etc.
But in this season Juventus stunned the world football by signing Cristiano Ronaldo from Real Madrid and by signing him they have made their squad even stronger than before. Despite adding Cristiano Ronaldo the Old Lady can still not achieve their dream of winning the treble as they crashed out of the Coppa Italia by the hands of Atalanta.
Nevertheless, this defeat has made the Old Lady more determined in their pursuit of the treble and they want to further upgrade their squad by adding more marquee signings for next season.
Though considering the present situation the defense seems to be an area of concern for Juve but at the same time, they want to add more firepower to the midfield as well despite the arrival of Aaron Ramsey for next season.
Thus, here are 3 midfielders Juventus are targeting for next season.
#3 James RodrÃguez (Bayern Munich on loan from Real Madrid)
James Rodriguez is currently on loan at Bayern Munich from Real Madrid and given his playing time it is clear that he is not enjoying his time in Germany. The Bavarian giants have given him a strict diet rule to follow as well.
The former Porto midfielder is known for his creativity, technique and a good left foot as well. Now, 27 the Colombian is set to reach his peak form as well.
Though currently in the Juve squad there are plenty of other left footers such as Dybala, Costa, and Bernadeschi but James is also capable of playing in the central midfield area and he can offer something different from the current players that the Old Lady have.
Also, if reports are believed to be true his former teammate Cristiano Ronaldo wants a reunion with him at the Allianz Stadium and James has already informed Bayern Munich that does not want to extend his stay with them.
