#3 Claude Puel

At #3 and perhaps the most likely manager to depart until last night’s turn of events is Leicester City head coach Claude Puel. The Frenchman had led the club through difficult times but losses in the domestic cups have been his own downfall.

The Foxes have had a mixed season compounded with the loss of their former chairman Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha in a tragedy which left not just the club, but the whole city shaken.

The 2016 Premier League champions gained an unlikely point at Anfield on Wednesday to delay Puel’s departure which looks increasingly inevitable with every defeat. Leicester had lost 7 out of their last 10 matches prior to their draw against Liverpool. That run included shock defeats to the likes of Newport County in the FA Cup third round, and Southampton at home in the league.

Even wins against top six sides like Chelsea and Premier League champions Manchester City could not mask their lackluster displays midway through the season against relegation-threatened teams like Cardiff City, who beat Leicester at the King Power.
