35th Federation Cup: Mohun Bagan name final squad

 

Kolkata giants Mohun Bagan AC have named their 20 players squad and flew on Sunday morning from Kolkata to Kerala for the upcoming 35th Federation Cup.

Mohun Bagan have been drawn in Group C where they face Mumbai FC (January 15), Shillong Lajong FC (January 18) and Salgaocar FC (January 21) at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in Kochi.

Mohun Bagan coach Karim Bencherifa said, “The first match against Mumbai FC will be very important, as it is crucial to make a winning start to the tournament. In this format, we cannot afford to lose any game. Once we get to the knockout round (semifinal), we definitely will have good chance to clinch the title.”
