Cristiano Ronaldo was once again in deadly form as Real Madrid trounced Juventus 3-0 in Turin in the first-leg of the Champions League quarter-final clash.
The Portuguese scored twice and set up another to leave the Italian champions on the brink of another disappointing elimination in Europe.
The 33-year-old opened the scoring after just three minutes after blasting home a low cross from Isco.
Ronaldo doubled his tally after the half-time break with a spectacular overhead kick which left Gianluigi Buffon stuck as the ball flew into the net.
The former Manchester United forward was in imperious form all through the game and capped off an impressive night by setting up Marcelo for Real Madrid’s third goal.
Ronaldo’s brace against Juventus ensured that he broke a couple of records in the Champions League, adding to his other glittering records in the competition.

#4 First player to score in 10 consecutive Champions League games
Ronaldo’s opening goal against Juventus actually marked his 10th consecutive strike in the Champions League.
The Portuguese has always been in fine form when playing in Europe’s premier competition and once again demonstrated why he is the most consistent player in this tournament.
His double against the Italian giants has seen him now become the first player in the history of the Champions League to score in 10 successive games.
It is a run which started when he netted against this same Juventus side in last season’s Champions League final.
Coincidentally, Ronaldo scored a brace in that game too as Real Madrid defeated Juventus 4-1 to lift their 12th Champions League crown.
Ronaldo has since netted successively – in both home and away ties – against Apoel, Dortmund, Spurs and PSG, before again netting against Juve, to become the first player ever to score in 10 consecutive Champions League games.
