Leonardo Bonucci to Manchester City

Bonucci is currently one of the best centre-backs in the world and it is no surprise that he has been heavily linked to Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City. Although Juventus are more than keen to hold on to their man, the sheer spending power of the Citizens might force their hand into selling their best defender.

The Italian followed up a stellar domestic campaign with some amazing performances in Euro 2016 and his signing will definitely bolster the Manchester City defence. The former Bayern boss called Bonucci was one of his 'all-time favourite players' when his team were taking on Juventus in the Champions League and has been following the maverick Italian defender for several years.

His ability to play gorgeous balls out from defence is a quality Pep is especially interested in and an attribute that will be crucial in helping him stamp his style of play on the Premier League side.

With Manchester City willing to break the bank and pay close to €60 million for the defender, Juventus might just be tempted to take the cash.
