De Boer sacked: 5 of the shortest reigns in Premier League history
Managing a club in the Premier League is every manager's dream. But for many, it turns into a nightmare from the word go.
It's not often we see a manager getting sacked after just 10 games. But these managers have suffered that fate.
Here are the managers who got sacked even before they could understand what was going wrong:
#5 - Jacques Santini (Games: 11)
When Tottenham appointed Jacques Santini, a lot was expected from the former France manager. He had just guided them to the quarter-finals of EURO 2004 and showed a lot of promise.
However, despite winning 3 three games and drawing 4 in his 11 games in-charge, he was sacked. Spurs were not the club they are now. They were a mid-table side and that was a good result for them at that point.
It was later revealed that Santini had 'personal problems' and that was the season for his departure.
