Catalan giants FC Barcelona are one of the most demanding clubs in the football world and that is why it is such a very difficult task for any player to keep his career at the Nou Camp, with Portuguese superstar Andre Gomes being one of the few players to fall out of favour in the Catalan capital recently.

The midfielder joined the Blaugrana in the summer of 2016 under former manager Luis Enrique, but he found it very difficult to cement a place for himself at the club during the 2 years he spent, later admitting to his struggles and eventually departing the club on a loan deal to join English outfit, Everton this summer.

On getting to the Premier League, Gomes has quickly turned things around, producing a couple of scintillating displays and quickly becoming one of the most influential figures at the Goodison Park.

The former Valencia superstar is proving his worth to the world again, controlling play from the centre of the pitch and displaying his ability find the right pass at the right moment - which in turn has earned him a lot of interest from a number of Premier League giants including Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur.
