Wanyama was known for his feisty tackles at Southampton

Victor Wanyama moved to Tottenham Hotspur from Southampton after the 2015-16 Premier League season. However, during the course of that season, Wanyama made a bit of Premier League history as he became just the fifth man in the league's history to be sent off three times in a single season.

Wanyama signed for Southampton from Celtic in 2013 and has been an effective, strong influence on the team. During the 2015-16 season for the Saints, he also received four yellow cards in addition to his three reds.

With his aerial and physical influence, Wanyama's presence in the midfield shields the back four.

In the six years, Wanyama has plied his trade in the Premier League he has picked up 31 yellow cards with just three dismissals, all in the 2015-16 campaign with the Saints.
