5 possible destinations for Luka Modric
Luka Modric is reportedly set to be sold by Real Madrid this summer. The Croatian turns 32 this summer and Zidane wants to add young talents to the squad.
Los Blancos are already plotting moves for Modric's replacement and are reportedly in talks with Marco Verratti. They also have the likes of Asensio and Kovacic in the squad to step up when the midfielder leaves.
Despite being 31, Luka has a lot left in him. He still has all the qualities to play at a club that is in the Champions League. Here are five possible destinations for the Real Madrid star:
#5 - Bayern Munich
Bayern Munich are interested in signing Luka Modric in the summer as the Germans want him to replace Xabi Alonso. The Spaniard has announced his retirement from professional football and Bayern have a tough task of replacing him.
Modric can fill the void left by Xabi in the midfield very well and prove to be a valuable asset to the squad. Carlo Ancelotti knows him well, and the move would be a win-win situation for all three parties involved.
Los Blancos are reportedly set to demand £27 million for the playmaker who turns 32 this summer. The amount won't be a problem at all for the Bundesliga champions, and they will be getting a quality midfielder with a lot of experience for that price.
Both clubs will agree a deal quickly for him as the teams have been involved in the transfers of Arjen Robben, Xabi Alonso and Toni Kroos in recent seasons.
