In the EFL Cup semi-final first leg, Manchester City beat Burton Albion 9-0. This is City's biggest win this season. Burton Albion plays in League One (3rd tier), and they reached the semi-finals by beating Middlesbrough in the quarterfinals.
Manchester City were the favourites to win the match, but nobody expected a scoreline of 9-0.
