AC Milan deny statements made by Balotelli

Yesterday, it was reported that Mario Balotelli had made an interesting wager with Real Madrid. The controversial player was reported as saying that if Real progressed through to the finals of the Champions League, then he would let the Madrid players sleep with his girlfriend, Fanny Neguesha.

However, AC Milan released a statement on their website and denied the “wager”.

The Italian club said that The Sun had made wrong declarations, and that no such comments were made by Balotelli.

It would have been interesting to see Balotelli’s reaction had Madrid beat Dortmund to reach the finals. Maybe Milan are just playing it safe and protecting their star player’s honour. Whatever it may be, the match is expected to be a cracker, with Madrid behind by three goals following their 4-1 defeat in Germany.

Let’s just hope that Milan’s statements don’t dampen Madrid’s motivation.
