AC Milan, Man City coaches to give football lessons to Delhi school kids
A few days earlier, the man behind the Airtel Rising Star, Bharat Bambawale told that many international clubs and some renowned players of world football are very much keen to promote football in India. Hardly two weeks have passed since his declaration and already his statements are coming into life as some of the coaches from EPL and Serie-A clubs are going to train a bunch of school kids of Delhi.
It has been reported that coaches from defending EPL champion Manchester City and AC Milan from Serie-A are going to give football lessons to some young talents from Delhi.
Former AC Milan player Claudio Balesini, who is now the supervisor of the junior academy of AC Milan, told “From whatever I have seen, I am impressed with these young players. These players need to improve their game tactics, because football has become more a tactical sport and these players need to learn this as early as they can.”
Meanwhile, academy coach of Manchester City Football Club, Lewis Childs mentioned that it is important to find young talents from every corner of the country at an early stage, as that will give them more time to develop themselves as a complete player and will eventually help them in their future.
“It’s a very good initiative by the organizers. Such competitions are very important to groom talented players. We also scout new talent at an early age in our club,” Childs added.
