AC Milan make enquiry about move for Manchester United's Nani, according to reports
According to reports by Sky Italia, AC Milan are thought to have enquired about the availability of Manchester United’s Portugues winger Nani.
The Portuguese international regressed dramatically last season under David Moyes and now sees himself well below in the pecking order. Now it seems that the ex-Sporting Lisbon would be made available by the Red Devils for a fee of around €8m (£6.5m).
However, the stumbling block to any deal seems to be his wages. Nani is believed to be earning approximately €3.5m per season, which seems to be a bit steep for the Rossoneri, who won’t be in Europe this season.
Nani meanwhile, may also get a chance to revive his fledgling career with a new manager at the helm at Old Trafford. Louis van Gaal takes charge of the English giants this season, giving Nani a clean slate and another opportunity to impress upon the man in charge.
