AC Milan hire former cop to keep Mad Mario away from trouble
Italian Seria A giants AC MIlan have hired former Italian policeman Filippo Ferri in a bid to ensure that their maverick striker Mario Balotelli stays away from trouble.
Balotelli whose antics made him a darling of the English tabloids during his time at Manchester City and lead to him being dubbed ‘Mad Mario’ has showcased his unpredictable side since his return home to Italy. His latest antics include leaving the San Siro without wearing official club uniform or colours and an assault on a photojournalist in Naples.
Filippo Ferri is a well known figure in AC Milan, who also employ him as a security expert. However Ferri himself isn’t a stranger to controversy himself as he was prohibited from working as a police officer in 2001 for his role in the heavy handed treatment of protesters outside the G8 Summit in Genoa that year
