AC Milan v Napoli: Match Preview, Team News, Predicted XI | Coppa Italia 2018-19
In a repeat of the weekend's fixture in the Serie A, AC Milan will host Napoli for the second time in a space of 3 days as they face off against each other in the quarterfinals of the Coppa Italia on Tuesday.
The Rossoneri had to battle it out in extra time in their round of 16 match against Sampdoria as the Patrick Cutrone scored once in each half of the extra time to guide the Milan giants into the quarterfinals finals of the Coppa Italia. AC Milan has lost just once in their last 6 matches and will be hoping to reach the semi-finals of the competition for the third time in four years.
The last team to win the Coppa Italia before Juventus way back in the 2013-14 season, Napoli will be looking to break the Bianconeri dominance over the cup. Napoli had an easier entry into the quarterfinals compared to their opponents as they comfortably defeated Sassuolo 2-0 at home to book their place. The weekend's draw at the San Siro meant that Napoli is now 11 points behind Juventus.
This will be the third time this season both the teams will be competing against each other with Napoli holding the advantage with a victory in their first meeting at the San Paolo.
