Adidas sign Diego Costa

Adidas today announced the signing of Spanish striker Diego Costa, who plays his club football for Atletico Madrid, as an official adidas ambassador.

Over the last two seasons Diego Costa has risen to prominence as one of the hottest properties in world football and is amongst the top goalscorers in La Liga and Europe this term. Costa signs with adidas ahead of the 2014 FIFA World Cup in Brazil where, if chosen, he will represent Spain at the finals in the country of his birth.

Upon signing with adidas, Diego Costa said, “I’m delighted to sign with adidas who are the true leaders in global football.
